Unnamed Road, 85460, L'Aiguillon-sur-Mer
Been here?
A roadside and dike parking area beside the sea, suitable mainly for one night in transit. The dike offers a beautiful view of the sea and Île de Ré, while vehicles parked along the road may lose the sea view. Other motorhomes arrive throughout the night, and some vehicle noise can be heard. Stay on the road or marked parking areas because the sandy ground is unstable.

For one night, it is adequate. To avoid being packed in with the motorhomes, park along the road and embankment. From the vehicle you cannot see the sea. Some vehicle noise at night. Otherwise very quiet. Lovely view from the embankment.
One night in transit. Motorhomes arrive throughout the night. You have to choose between cramming into the large parking area at the end of the road or parking along the road and hearing the last arrivals. The view over Île de Ré is superb. Just satisfactory for one night in transit.
Make sure you stay on the road and in the parking areas, as the ground is unstable. Motorhomers regularly get stuck in the sandy terrain. Windy location, magnificent beach.
