Been here?
This is a quiet, well-maintained motorhome area opposite a campsite beside the Rhine, with spacious pitches for different vehicle lengths. The fee is €20 per day; electricity and water cost extra, while Wi-Fi and waste disposal are included. Campsite toilets and showers may be used, with 3 minutes of showering costing 1 EUR, and payment is cash only. Waldshut’s attractive old town is about 15 minutes away on foot, with shops and riverside paths nearby.

Pitch opposite the campsite. Pitches large enough and marked for every vehicle length. Little shade; the trees still need to grow. The campsite’s shower can be used: 3 minutes for €1. Toilet also available. Quiet location. The old town is worth seeing, 15 minutes on foot.
Parking-lot atmosphere with paved pitches of various sizes. €20 per day; electricity and water cost extra. Wi-Fi and disposal are included. Toilet in the neighboring campsite.
Without the neighboring campsite, this place would be worth nothing!
We arrived around 8 p.m., but someone was supposedly there until 9 p.m. It was a bit strange because, as a first-time visitor, you do not know where to go or what to do. Fortunately, I asked fellow campers and got a great explanation. In principle, everything is self-explanatory: €20 overnight, €1 for electricity, though I do not know for how long because it is not stated, and showers are €1 per 3 minutes. Otherwise, the place is excellent for motorhomes.
Super practical and well-maintained pitch. The campsite’s sanitary facilities can be used (3-minute shower for €1). Waldshut old town is reachable on foot in 20 minutes. Cash payment only.
We stayed at the campsite for 2 days and everything was great. Very clean, everyone was very friendly, and the campsite was very quiet. We would gladly return.
Spacious pitches and good access and passage. Modern disposal facilities. Unfortunately, cash only. €20 is at the upper end for Germany, but it is close to Switzerland, which is why there are many Swiss visitors (including me). The Rhein-Perle restaurant is highly recommended. The football club pizzeria less so.
The cost of €18.00 was increased to €20.00 today, January 1, 2026. It is annoying that the site still only accepts cash. Even when paying at the campsite?! Otherwise, it is a quiet, clean, and pleasant place.
Good pitch with everything you need. Very quiet even though the main road is not far away. Bread-roll service and showers are excellent. One star deducted because the electricity meters have no display, so you do not know how much power you have left.
Functional pitch. Particularly suitable for one night while passing through.
Always lovely to spend a night here. Everything you need is available in good quality and is clean.
Nice and well-maintained site with everything one could wish for; highly recommended.
The pitch and disposal facilities are good. The electricity pedestal has no consumption or credit display. Site rules would be helpful, because some people reverse-park in a row of forward-facing vehicles, leaving us unable to access our rear door. Unfortunately, there is always someone who ignores the instruction to park facing forward.
The pitches are straight, concreted, we arrived in the evening and there was enough free space. Electricity is available. The toilets are a little further away. The pizza at the football field is excellent.
The parking area was full, but they found us a place and were very kind. The campsite facilities can be used; a hot shower costs €1 for 3 minutes. A pleasant walk along the river with the dog. Everything was very efficient.
Suitable for overnight stays; the pitch resembles a parking lot. Many large motorhomes. Nice for walks along the Rhine. Suitable for travelers passing through.
Today, May 13, 2025, we arrived here on our return journey from France through Switzerland. The site is not large, but very nice—the campsite! The pitch opposite is also good. There is a restaurant. Campers from the pitch can use the campsite’s showers and toilets. Showers cost €1 for 3 minutes. Everything is great!
Neat pitch directly beside a campsite. Spacious pitches, electricity, water, and disposal facilities available. As described. But for this price, that is to be expected. Nice restaurant at the campsite, with delicious food. It was quiet at night.
Very nice pitch. You can take a shower for €1 by entering the campsite and going around the restaurant, as confirmed by reception. The pitch can only be paid for in cash; you need exact notes and coins, and no change is given. Otherwise, pay at reception in the restaurant. Payment.
Spacious, level, paved pitches. Parking machine accepts coins only and requires exact change. Payment is possible at the restaurant opposite, cash only. Services require coins. Quiet and directly on the Rhine. Walking path to the pretty old town of Waldshut. Wi-Fi available, but I did not use it. I would gladly return.
We stayed there for one night. Everything was perfect, as described. We would gladly return.
Everything TOP! Good value for money. Very beautiful location. Good sanitary facilities. Good restaurant. We will return.
Always a lovely stop on the Rhine, with a fine dinner. The sanitary facilities are clean. Unfortunately, the price has risen considerably in recent years.
We stopped here for 24 hours. We liked the site very much. The food in the campsite restaurant was faultless. We will return!
Well-maintained pitch. Electricity available at almost all pitches. Paved and fairly level surface. Toilets and showers are in the campsite across the road. Bring enough small change. Electricity, pitch fee, and showers can only be paid for in cash with coins. Adequate for one night. Meals are available at the campsite restaurant.
Spent a comfortable night at a clean pitch. The site is at the high end of the price range, and everything still costs extra (fresh water, shower, electricity, etc.).
Nice large pitches. Payment only in cash or at reception on the other side of the road. Great cycling routes possible. We will return.
It has all the services. We stayed one night while passing through.
