Central urban site, city noise

The only usable place in Hamburg. The sanitary facilities are a joke. It is really only for parking the car and sleeping inside. The site is supposed to disappear soon; check the website!✦Translating

I stayed at this pitch from July 21 to 23, 2026, and was satisfied overall. For the price, the offer is fair—water and waste services as well as sanitary facilities are included. Gravel pitch with a parcel and 6A electricity at our site. Because one direction was closed for the S-Bahn, only about four or five trains passed, which was quite manageable. We stayed there over Easter and spent six nights. We like the site because of its central location. Naturally, it is noisy because of the railway, and the sanitary facilities are okay too.

We stayed here for one night to go to the Harry Potter theater (a 15-minute walk). We could choose our spot and decided to park by the fence next to McDonald's. Yes, the site is somewhat noisy, but it is okay. The S-Bahn does not run at night. For a central location, €35 is perfectly acceptable. If only every big city had something like this!

We stayed at this pitch for two nights. Quiet at night except for the S-Bahn, which you can clearly hear. But it does not run at night. Showers and toilets are okay, nothing special. Reception was friendly. Good S3 connection, and the Reeperbahn is only 400 meters away. We were satisfied.

A practical pitch not far from HafenCity. Good S-Bahn connection. The sanitary containers are clean, there are plenty of spaces, and the pitch area is sufficiently large for a motorhome. The older man at reception was very friendly and helpful. The noise level on the site was not bothersome. I will definitely come back.

The site is practical, but nothing more! The pitches are so narrow that you can barely open the motorhome door. The sanitary facilities in containers were locked after 4 p.m. to keep strangers out. Electricity was available at first, but everything was dead in the evening. Under the railway and beside the road! Surprisingly quiet at night. Reception was very friendly. Still too expensive at €35!

Spaces were still available despite arriving at 6:30 p.m. Public transport directly on site; located under the S-Bahn, so there is some noise. €35 per night, with later departure possible for an additional fee. We spent two days here with our motorhome. Very large site with many pitches, but extremely cramped—sometimes only about one meter apart. The gravel area quickly becomes muddy in rain. Sanitary facilities are somewhat dated but clean. Friendly reception. Fine for visiting Hamburg, but at €35 there is room for improvement. Also quite noisy due to trams and campers arriving at night.

At €35 per day, I expect to find a well-maintained site. Instead, it was a muddy mess! Not even gravelled. Neglected, with the real feeling of 'we do not need to do anything here; we just have to rip off the people who come.' Since it is not a campsite, they could also have spared us the creepy washroom containers. That would justify €20 less. €15 would be just about okay.

For us, this place is great! Clean sanitary facilities, all-inclusive for €35 in a major city, and such convenient transport links! The S-Bahn can be reached within a few minutes on foot. Naturally noisy because of the location, but you know that beforehand! We hope it stays open. Apparently it is supposed to be developed.

It’s okay if you need somewhere to park up over night but noisy area right under a train bridge and sirens all night, the area a little ruff and €35 a night seems expensive to me, personally wouldn’t use it again

August 2025. It's ugly, the spaces are narrow and the price is expensive. Better to find somewhere farther from Hamburg and take the train there. I'm being generous by giving it 3 stars.

Stayed one night here and, despite the chilly temperatures, it was really warm in the toilet and shower facilities. Close to public transport and the city center. The sounds of the city did not bother us. That comes with wanting to stay centrally.

We spent one night here. The toilets and showers are unacceptable. The price of €35 is not justified.

This is a parking area, NOT a campsite! Very good bus and S-Bahn connections. Well-maintained service facilities and heated shower, toilet and dishwashing containers. Only general-waste containers, though glass can at least be disposed of separately. Very friendly welcome at reception. Otherwise, money can be left in cash, even if only the service facilities are used. Electricity is stable and the pitches are level. Bring earplugs for the S-Bahn noise; otherwise it is quite quiet.

We stayed here for one night. We arrived at 8:30 p.m. and left the parking area again at 10 a.m. the next day. €35 is too much for what is offered. The toilets were not clean, they smelled, and soap had not been refilled. Unfortunately, it is the only “real” campsite in the city, so it is also very noisy, although that is due to and predictable from the location.
