Beach parking, short spaces

We were here for two days. The 7–10 rule still applies, but you have to go shopping sometimes. Toilets and showers are in operation. Not suitable for motorhomes over 5.5 m.

Stays along the whole road are forbidden 7–10 am daily, except at the playground 36.1548,-5.3398. We stayed there for several days without problems. City beach amenities (showers) without anyone actually living there due to the border. (Drinking water at 36.1600,-5.3512.) Perfect for day trips to Gibraltar. Pro tip: Enter the Nature Reserve for free before 09:00 or after 18:45 through Devils Gap.

Perfect for the weekend, but the cleaning service comes during the week between 7 and 10 a.m. You need to be there to move your vehicle if it is in the way.

We parked here both during the day and overnight to visit La Línea and Gibraltar, and the experience could not have been better. We slept wonderfully, right next to the beach with the Rock of Gibraltar in the background—a truly special place to wake up. The area is quiet and safe, perfect for resting after a day out. The people were very friendly throughout.

All the parking spaces are small and especially short; not suitable for motorhomes: only for vans.

Parking overnight was okay. However, the parking lot is closed to everyone without a permit from 7–10 a.m. The police came by at 8 a.m. and sent us away until 10. Others who were not with their vehicles were fined.

Spacious free parking just on the beach. Good view to Gibraltar and also not far away from the border. Trashcans available, no toilets. There were many campervans there. There is a stadium nearby, so expect more movement around if there was an event.

Great parking for walking into Gibraltar, big parks for a pop top camper. The beach has showers in the high season for use. Possibly wouldn’t recommend staying overnight - only because it could be quite loud. Free and flat.

Heavy car traffic all night. We moved to a nearby side street at 2:30 a.m. It was unbearable. Stay away.

Parked here for the night and day whilst exploring Gibraltar, 10 minute walk to the border. About 10 motorhomes also parked here. Felt safe and quiet night one the jazz band left at 22:15.

The road was very long, with many parking spaces directly by the sea and a sunrise view. The toilets belonged to the beach bar and were locked. There were beach showers, but unfortunately only one of them worked. It was also relatively unsettled because many cars and pedestrians pass by. But it is a practical location for going to Gibraltar.

We only spent the day here, with no problems, and it is close to Gibraltar.

Right on the beach with free toilets. We were there at the beginning of September, and there were plenty of free spaces. Free and a 10-minute walk to the border crossing into Gibraltar.

Free parking spaces large enough for panel vans. Parking is prohibited from 7–10 a.m. Directly on the beach. Small beach police station, resulting in quite a lot of police presence. Gibraltar is about a 15-minute walk away.

Quiet parking at night, close to Gibraltar for walking there, and close to the beaches. During the day it fills up with people going to the beach, so it is better to arrive in the evening to find a space.

It is a very good place, but parking is prohibited from 7 to 10 in the morning. They call a tow truck. You can spend the night, but only until 7 a.m.

Free parking on the beach; we used it to visit Gibraltar, a 20-minute walk away. We did not spend the night there, but we would have done so comfortably; it is a quiet place.

Stayed here for a few hours, but then the road seemed too busy to me to spend the night. You are not allowed to stay here from 7–10 a.m.

We did not have to pay anything; we stayed farther toward Gibraltar on the same road. We were away for three hours.

Right opposite is the municipal stadium car park, with very reasonable prices of around €6. Ideal for visiting Gibraltar.

Be aware: sanitary facilities and shower closed in the low season.

We parked our 7m van in a parking space from Tuesday afternoon to Saturday morning. We slept in it on Tuesday night and then went over to Gibraltar for 3 days. No issues and can all safe. If you have a larger van like ours you probably need to park it slightly over the pavement so you are out of the road.

Ideal for daytime parking for small campers, but we slept at the parking lot around the corner. Because of the poor reviews concerning the police, and because the busy road was too loud anyway.
