Rua da Aviação Portuguesa, 2710-357, Sintra
Been here?
A newly built, paved parking area where motorhomes and vans are welcome, with many spaces and no camper services. It is strongly sloped, so wheel chocks may be needed, although a nearby dirt area is flatter. The site is quiet and free at weekends, with a bus stop nearby and the centre of Sintra about 20 minutes away on foot.

Large free parking area on weekends, without camper services. The tourist bus is a scam. A 20-minute walk to the center. We did not sleep there.Translating
Good parking spot with more than enough space, including for motorhomes. It was very quiet even in the afternoon, and you can easily take a bus to Sintra from here.Translating
The parking area is very good, but there are no toilets and it is uneven, so you need leveling blocks. The parking is safe and 2 kilometers from Sintra's historic center. Bus 434 stops right next to it for visiting Sintra's palaces and castles. A return trip to Pena Palace costs €3.70 per person, while a ticket allowing multiple bus trips costs €10 per person.Translating
We arrived in the morning, and at the parking area a man who appeared to work for the municipality assigned each motorhome a place and showed us where to park. It is very steep, and even leveling blocks do not solve the problem. But we slept very well. They could provide services, but thanks to the municipality for making this land available to us.Translating
Good parking for visiting Sintra, but be careful because it is all sloped, which in my opinion makes staying overnight uncomfortable, even though it is theoretically possible if you do not mind. I would also add that Sintra's attractions must be booked in advance, otherwise you risk finding everything sold out, as we did at 11 in the morning!Translating
Very well located and next to the bus. We took our electric bikes to visit the castles. Thanks to the municipality for making these spaces available to motorhome travelers free of charge. We spent one night.Translating
The parking is free, but we were told it will become paid in a few weeks. We slept peacefully for two nights, without services. Suitable for visiting Sintra's castles, but WARNING: beware of shuttle bus 434, it is a scam!!! There are no timetables. It is very expensive, and nearby there is a bus stop that takes you to the train station, from where all the buses to the castles depart!Translating
New place, free. Monitored by the coach staff. Always attended by tuk-tuks.Translating
Very convenient for visiting the city. Tourist bus 434 (€10 for the day) is right at the beginning of the parking area. Sloped asphalt, no noise. There is another dirt parking area nearby that is flat; take the dead-end road. It is a shame there are no services.Translating
New and very quiet parking area without services, close to the center, free, permitted for motorhomes and vans, illuminated and apparently under video surveillance. Access and parking are possible day and night, with quite a large number of spaces.Translating
Quiet and new. Close to the center.Translating
