28 Lotissement Plaisance, 48220, Pont-de-Montvert-Sud-Mont-Lozère
Been here?
A flat parking area beside a multisport field and playground, about five minutes on foot from the village centre. A drinking-water point is available, and the location is useful for walking and exploring the village and nearby Tarn. The approach is very narrow, passing tightly for vehicles around 6,50 x 2,40, with a sharp turn. It is usually calm, but the sports area can remain active until 22h30 or 23h30 in high season.

This spot is a blessing in this magnificent region: a drinking-water point, level ground, and access to the village center in five minutes on foot. The streets are narrow, but we got through without problems with our 6.50 x 2.40 m vehicle. If you pass through here, do not miss Runes waterfall a few kilometers away: a 20-minute walk to swim beneath the 60-meter waterfall, a unique experience.
The access is impressive; with a 6 m x 2.30 m motorhome it is just wide enough for the mirrors. Not quiet in the evening during high season: the sports area and playground are heavily used during the day, great if you have children, and currently also quite late in the evening, until 10:30 or even 11:30 p.m., so no more than four stars. Still, it is a good option and more pleasant than the village.
Very quiet, ideally located if you are self-sufficient. There is also a tap with drinking water.
June 7, 2026. Very good stopover for two nights; there were three of us, one motorhome and two vans. A water point. Ideal for setting out hiking. Thank you for this site next to a municipal leisure area, just steps from the center of Pont de Montvert.
Quiet night, village not far away.
Perfect for vans with children because of the playground. Water point, perfect for replenishing supplies! Close to the center of Pont de Montvert. Quiet night with a beautiful starry sky (if clear!).
Perfect with a 6m Van. Cool and quiet
Good for children, with a small soccer field, zip line, and children’s games. Water point.
I have a 6.99 m long and 2.20 m wide motorhome. Beware, the street is very narrow; we got through, but it was challenging! Level area with a playground and sports field. Very quiet night, very pretty village on the banks of the Tarn with shops.
We spent a day and a night here; perfect for children! Very quiet and very pleasant.
Good stop for a quiet night. Access is easy for a van. Be careful with a motorhome, as it may be narrow depending on its size. A useful backup option. Respect the surroundings, as residents are immediately nearby.
Narrow access and a very tight bend, parking below houses and in front of a small sports field. Nevertheless, it is a useful backup option.
