Been here?
A Caravaning and Motorhome Club campsite directly beside Dunnet Bay’s long sandy beach, with free pitch choice and direct beach access. Toilets and showers are clean but somewhat dated, while some pitches are uneven and the road is nearby. Facilities include electricity on some pitches, laundry costing around £5.00, and Wi-Fi in the hotel next door. It is well suited to beach activities, dogs, children, walking and surfing.

Beautiful beach, friendly staff. I would recommend it immediately.
Campsite right on the beach. Choose your own pitch. Sanitary facilities are somewhat old but clean. You come for the view and the kilometers-long beach, not for modern showers. Happy to return.
Ok site. Clean facilities, small pitches with ehu it was £44. Expensive for what you get.
Lovely site. But extortionate prices - £42 for Bank Holiday Monday. Arrive in good time, as many pitches are uneven. We were at the back by the road. Small but reasonable facilities and friendly staff. We took our van up to Dunnet Head as it was too far to hike in very blustery conditions. Community Forest behind the site makes a nice change from the coast. Sunsets from the beach are beautiful.
Excellent location right by the beach. Great for watching the sunset! We stayed here for 1 night with a motorhome and EHU. Place has all the facilities you need, great showers too - clean and hot. Laundry on site too for around £5.00. Would highly recommend!
The location is simply fantastic! Right on a long sandy beach with direct access. The sanitary facilities and everything else, as usual at a CAMC site, are excellent! The reception was equally good. We could choose our own pitches, which were large. If only the Scots could sort out the weather…
Wonderful location on a dream beach, with private access and a well-maintained, well-run site.
Friendly welcome, beautiful spacious pitches close to the beach, immaculate, clean toilets and showers. Wonderfully hot water and strong pressure. Easy to fill with water, but you need your own hose. Everything is very well maintained, but without membership of the camping card it is quite expensive: €41, otherwise €34. Beautiful views. Worth the money.
The campsite has direct access to the kilometer-long sandy beach. Very friendly owners. Well-maintained sanitary facilities. We paid £35.10 per night with the Camping Key Europe card (motorhome with two adults).
Note: Right beside the main road. Turning is difficult (no sign at all). Fast drivers on road so be prepared for speedy traffic. Beside that it’s a Nice campsite, stunning views, good facilities. Little bit overpriced(£51/night) compare with other campsites where the facilities are better.
Lovely site. Great views. Friendly welcome. Excellent site for members. Will return.
Great views over the beach. However, because we weren't members they wanted £47 for one night (Motorhome 2 adults). No wonder I sacked the club off last month! 2 stars because of the nice view. Car park next to site £5 for 24 hours (no facilities)
Great location on the NC500 route. Easy access to the beach, good facilities. We stayed for 2 nights, there are no pitch allocations. First night we were next to the road and it was a little noisy but were offered the opportunity to move for the second night before the new arrivals came. We headed into Dunnet for a gin tour and tasting at the Dunnet Bay Distillery which was an easy 10 minute walk so definitely recommend.
Campsite perfectly situated next to a huge beach where Vikings once landed, now replaced by surfers and kite surfers. Large pitches and perfect services and facilities. The price for four people and a motorhome for one night at the beginning of August was £57.
