1001 Camping Süssau-Strand, 23777, Heringsdorf
Been here?
A small, nature-focused campsite directly behind the dike, offering peaceful stays without 24-hour entertainment. Pitches for campervans up to 7 meters can be reserved online or used spontaneously, with electricity available for payment by card. Clean but somewhat dated sanitary facilities are provided, while tiny houses, rental caravans, glamping tents and a panoramic sauna are also available; winter services are severely limited.

Nice place with pitches for spontaneous campers and motorhome travelers. Electricity is available for a fee by card. The sanitary facilities are somewhat dated but clean.
Beautiful and quiet. I like the uncomplicated atmosphere; you feel free. The sanitary facilities are somewhat dated but spotlessly clean and smell good. Really excellent. Klaus, I will be back!
Something different—not impersonal, flashy nonsense, but a place with heart. Site manager Klaus and operator Annika told us what else is planned and, above all, what has already been done. You can overlook the somewhat dated washroom. At the moment, the northern dog beach is closed while storm-surge damage is being repaired.
Great place. Super quiet in the off-season; now, like most sites, it is fairly full. Because the site is small, it is still charming. The dog beach on the left is closed, but the one on the right is open.
Site manager Klaus is excellent. The site itself is not very well maintained, and there are deep ruts in places. The sanitary facilities are not very clean and smell. There is currently construction work along the promenade, starting as early as 7 a.m. and being very loud. If you are looking for relaxation, this is the wrong place, at least during the construction, which will probably continue for some time. The dog beach is closed for this reason.
Auszeit 27 is a wonderful place right on the seafront promenade—quiet despite the construction work. Everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere is wonderful. The site manager is incredibly dedicated and friendly. Bread rolls in the morning, delicious pizza in the evening. Lovingly designed retro caravans, glamping tents, and tiny houses for rent—simply a place to feel at home!
There is a small shop selling bread rolls in the morning and pizzas and tarte flambée between 6 and 7 p.m. It was a lucky find for us, but we will definitely come back here.
Had a great weekend. The Place to (B)ulli really almost feels like wild camping.
Beautiful natural campsite with everything you need; something for everyone, whether tent, camper van, motorhome, or caravan. Klaus has a place for everyone. Right on the coast, with a tiny but very lovely seafront promenade. €36 for two people with dog and electricity. Showers cost €1 for 7 minutes. Everything was great, so we stayed for two nights.
Great site, with an almost wild-camping feel at Place to Bulli.
Yesterday we stayed with our Grand California on the panoramic pitch and were simply overwhelmed. Great views over the fields, bread rolls in the morning, pizza in the evening. Clean toilets. Excellent :)
Flat area. Quiet for sleeping. The sanitary facilities are old but clean. The reception was friendly. A nice place.
First-class! We were passing through and stayed here rather spontaneously. Very friendly contact and a very nice site manager. We will definitely come back. Many thanks for the exceptionally friendly service and instructions on the site. Greetings, Stephan from Herdecke.
A natural campsite. We had a panoramic pitch with a beautiful, expansive view over the fields. All the site employees we met were also very friendly. The only criticism: the sanitary facilities, laundry room, and outdoor kitchen could be maintained a little better. Dirt and unwashed dishes were always present during our stay.
We received a wonderful welcome from an employee who immediately called Mr. Klaus, the campsite manager. We had a nice conversation while checking in; everything is very relaxed here. You need to bear in mind that payment is in cash. She warned us about the work on the promenade, but that was no problem for us. We were placed with our motorhome on the panoramic pitch, with a beautiful view over the meadows.
We arrived spontaneously in the off-season while passing through. We stayed with a roof tent on the camper-van pitch. It was quiet, with a very beautiful view over the fields. In my opinion, the campsite is clean. Klaus is friendly. There is a harmonious atmosphere. The site is lovingly designed, and the path to the pier is just around the corner.
Super-friendly staff! Here you really feel welcome.
Lovingly designed, with warm-hearted people on site! You rarely find something like this anymore :) Camping without a hotel or resort atmosphere. We loved it. Our friends spontaneously joined us and slept in one of the tiny houses.
Super-relaxed site. Loving and close to nature. The toilets are basic, functional, and clean. Electricity is charged as a flat rate or according to consumption, depending on the pitch. Water is free and available at a few central locations. We had to ask about wastewater, but Klaus then showed us where to dispose of both chemical toilet waste and gray water. We will come back :)
