Funeral home parking, unsuitable overnight

This is the parking area of the municipal funeral home. I think people’s grief should be respected; the place does not seem appropriate for either overnight stays or parking. The crematorium chimney operates at all hours and is only a few metres away.

I have slept here several times again; the entrance barrier never comes down. After 9 p.m., the funeral home closes and the area is empty, although normally nobody bothers you if you park in the upper lot. You can go down to the funeral home café for a drink, and it has a bathroom. Large and very large motorhomes, even buses, can enter.

It is a parking area by the funeral home, with visitors coming and going. It is not appropriate to spend the night here.

There is a barrier at the entrance to the parking area. I do not know whether it is closed. We drove on, partly because the surroundings felt eerie.
