Canal parking, all-night noise

Noise from the road all night, and from the ships on the canal. The view was blocked by river barges. Many locals and people from the ships park here.

Excellent place to spend the night. Had a quiet night. Close to the center.

Slept wonderfully! Thanks to the tip about dogs, we kept a close eye on our dog and did not go for a walk. The road in the background did not bother us. We will definitely come back here.

Not suitable for travelers with a cat or dog. Many off-leash dogs are walked here, including one consistently very aggressive dog that attacks other dogs and is not under control. And yes, the road is very busy. Zwartsluis is within easy walking distance and is idyllic. Advice: only stay here to visit Zwartsluis, and keep a close eye on your animals.

Nice parking spot if you want to visit the region by bycicle, we took a ride to Giethoorn and it takes 45 min to arrive there, both ways around 24 Km. we wouldn't feel comfortable to sleep here though.

Many parked cars, mainly belonging to employment agencies. The road behind is fairly busy and noisy. The pleasant town center is within walking distance.

It was full of parked cars and there was no room to park my camper. There were no campers at all. The road behind it is busy.

Great spot! We arrived here at 11 p.m.; there were about eight other campers, but there was still room for our van. Easy to park thanks to the slightly paved surface, a kind of ribbed paving. Lovely by the water and among some trees. It is indeed next to a busy road, but we were not bothered at night, and barely during the day either. We would definitely come back here!

Nice place, especially for going into the village, getting something tasty from the local bakery and, of course, eating some fish. Bus stop and walking routes nearby. I think you can even get electricity if you report to the harbor master.
