Thanks for the good tip. We spent a very quiet night right at the back before the bend, in the free area. Ideal for visiting Fort Charles and the town centre.Translating
Brilliant place to stay. Any length of motorhome can stay if space available, you can park along the kerb. We parked during the day on a Saturday in late June to visit the town, charge@€3 2 hours. Parking is payable 1030 to 1800. It’s free all day Sunday & you can stay overnight. it’s a wide road with parking both sides.Town is less than 5 min walk. Plenty of shops, top class restaurants and pubs.
Great place to stay, free after 6. Town centre is a 5 minute walk. There is no height barrier that I can see.
Brilliant place to stay. Fabulous view of the harbour. Any length of motorhome can stay if space available, as not all parking is in bays, you can park along the kerb. We parked during the day on a Friday in late May to visit the town, charge @ €3 for 2 hours. Parking is payable 10:30am to 18:00. After that it’s free and you can stay overnight. Spots were coming up regularly so it’s worth waiting, it’s a wide road with parking both sides. We were told by a couple who had stayed here before, to top up every 2hrs until we reached 6pm. Town is less than a 5 min walk. Plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs. Not sure what the availability will be in peak season of course.
Perfect free roadside spot close to the centre and next to the river
Be sure to park at the end, closest to the sharp bend that goes up the hill. Spaniard pub food. Quiet night and free parking. Several other vans there.
Stayed here for 4 nights. Park beyond parking signs for free. Bit of traffic but very little going around to Scilly. Spaniard and man Fridays prob best in kinsale for food and drink :)
Perfect overnight stop, short walk to town, to enjoy all facilities, quite night, full 4g signal, longer spaces for MHomes further along
Ideal parking during the day; at the end, the spaces allow for a long vehicle. Avoid venturing into the town with its very narrow streets.Translating
Great for visit to kinsale €1.50 an hour which is loads to visit the town u less you’re eating as 2hrs only Short distance to main town
Great stop. no issues. just make sure you are not parked over 2 parking bays.
Local police clamped us. I would not recommend to stay here. Parking at Charles fort is much better
Pleasant to be beside the water, but we are really beside a road. Little traffic at night, very busy in the morning! Close enough to visit the village. No height limit.Translating
Good parking spot at the harbour, no services, three minutes from the town; although it was Saturday, it was quiet. Nevertheless, I recommend the spot at Charles Fort. It also has no services, but a great location. Unfortunately, I discovered it too late.Translating
Park past the parking sign during the day for free then anywhere is free along the road after 6pm to 10.30am. Lots of campers parked up.
Beautiful place for one night. We stayed here with several other campers. There is repeated traffic at night, but it is manageable. There is a paid toilet nearby.Translating
Lots of campers, safe, no probs. If you can’t get a spot that’s free, just pay: it’s free after 6pm until 10.30am. Weds is fantastic market day
No height limit. Park near the parking area on the side of the road next to the harbour; magnificent view.Translating
Perfect location to the centre of a beautiful village, we just struggled a bit to get over to sleep with the road noise and folk going home from the pubs.
perfect spot ,right beside the town. Very popular spot so may fill up quickly .
Ideally located and free, for visiting this lovely little colorful town. 500 m from the centre.Translating
Stayed here a couple of nights with no problems. Right beside the town . Bins close by & nice views
Scenic spot right in front of the river in the centre of Kinsale. On a road but not a particularly busy one. There is a public toilet in the car park about 5 minutes walk away. No parking restrictions so can park overnight.
Town parking. Surprisingly quiet night (Friday). Nothing special to give more than 3 stars.
