Been here?
Free motorhome area, 12 spaces, near castle in town center. Steeply sloped—bring leveling blocks. Water and cassette disposal available (cassette tap removed, water tap only). Very quiet, close to shops and village. Facilities clean; ideal for castle visit and town exploration.

Area very well located for Fargeau Castle, which is worth the detour, as is its evening show. Sloping, so bring leveling blocks. Thanks to the municipality.Translating
Excellent and very clean. Numerous shops and restaurants nearby.Translating
Quite steeply sloping asphalt parking area. You can level it fairly well, and a little slope never hurt anyone. Quiet and peaceful place. Gladly come again. Thanks to the municipality for the free spot.Translating
I thank the municipality for providing reserved spaces right in the town center, just two steps from the shops. Everything is very clean and well maintained, and the welcome at the tourist office was excellent. It is true that the parking area has a slight slope, but nothing particularly bothersome.Translating
Closed until June 15. You will have to manage somehow.Translating
Thank you very much for this parking area. We were able to visit the castle without any problems. Large and sloping space.Translating
The tap for rinsing cassettes has been removed. Now there is only one fresh-water tap. Two small bins that fill up very quickly. Not always quiet.Translating
Free motorhome area with waste disposal and water, very close to the town center. We stopped to visit the village and fill up with water.Translating
It was incredibly quiet, since the area is not on a main road. The area is somewhat sloping sideways, but this is no problem for sleeping crosswise. The bakery is 100 meters away. You can do without the toilets.Translating
A parking area just as we like them!! Perfect!!!Translating
Magnificent area, 12 free spaces with water and waste disposal. Downstairs are very clean toilets with toilet paper. We spent two extremely quiet nights there. The nearby little village is lovely, with all the shops. The only minor drawback is that the area is slightly sloping; leveling blocks are recommended. Above all, many thanks to the municipality for making this kind of place available to us.Translating
A very nice motorhome area in a small, interesting village. Public toilets in the lower parking area.Translating
Just a daytime stop for a break. The services are very comprehensive. There are even sanitary facilities with soap and toilet paper. Excellent.Translating
Very nice place, cute village, great boulangerie. The circus must have moved on ...Translating
Area accessible despite the presence of the fairground. We asked the fairground workers if we could pass, and they said it was accessible as long as the rides were not operating. The prohibition signs are there to prevent the parking entrance from being blocked. Free services.Translating
Unfortunately, we could not stay in this area because it was occupied by a circus. We will return to visit the town.Translating
We stayed couple of nights. Lovely old town. Locals very friendly. Good bakery very close. The parking is slopping alot but we used our levelers and was okay. In winter water turned off as it is in most places this time of year. The toilets were closed too but by the creche there is some other public toilets which are not great but open. Its a very quiet area at night.
Asphalt parking area, but very, very steep!!!Translating
Nothing to add; the other comments describe the place perfectly. Just one thing: if you look carefully, you will find the toilet cassette drainage hatch in the grass right next to the low wall, not on the grey-water grate. Thanks to those who come after you.Translating
Very good parking area for visiting the town, slightly sloping. Toilets and a covered picnic area right next door. You can spend the night there. The tourist circuit through the town is nice. The tourist office is welcoming. Thank you to the town for thinking of us.Translating
Thanks to the municipality for this very well located, clean and practical area.Translating
Nice aire well situated for access to the town. Sloping pitches so we had to use our wedges for the first time ever. Serices easy to use and worked fine. OK for walking the dog.
Slept in the parking area below the motorhome area. This area is sloping and was full. The bells ring the end of the day at 10:30 p.m. and start again at 6:30 a.m. There was quite a lot of traffic during the night, and the space is shared with cars whose drivers are really inconsiderate. Otherwise, we slept well.
Parked with some superb XXL leveling blocks. No space and no shade, which is a real shame for such a beautiful town. Thanks for welcoming us, but we are not staying.
Thanks to the town hall for this lovely area and its facilities. Located in the center of Saint-Fargeau, the castle and amenities are accessible on foot via a pretty path.
Good and beautiful free area, with services but no electricity, in the center of a charming village! A little sloping and leveling is needed, but it is in a very beautiful setting and worth it. We felt very safe.
Good for visiting the castle and the show, which is worth seeing. But it is sloping and there is very little space. Come the day before performances. Very little shade. Shame there are no bins.
Very good parking area, a little sloping, with toilets nearby.
Thank you to the municipality. Clean. It is just a shame that it is very, very sloping.
500 meters from the castle, perfect for attending the show. Paved and sloping parking, bring leveling blocks. Numerous picnic tables. Be careful to arrive early! From 4 p.m. it is full. Thanks to the municipality for this free parking area.
Very pleasant area, free water and cassette disposal services, shops nearby, public toilets, and a magnificent show at the castle. The only drawback is the lack of bins. Well done to the municipality, and let us keep these places clean.
Thanks to the municipality for offering us this very pleasant space.
Open! Paved spaces, bring leveling blocks. Good for one night and for visiting the town and castle.
Warning: closed at the moment!
Thanks to the municipality for this pleasant, quiet and free area (parking and services). It is a shame there are no bins, so some litter can be found nearby.
Very pleasant area, with leveling mandatory on one side. Access could be a little wider, especially when leaving the service area. We even had a visit from someone from the tourist office, which was very nice. The service area is well equipped. Thanks to Saint-Fargeau for making this available to motorhomes free of charge.
Very good—quiet and close to the shops and castle. Very welcoming tourist office. Water and sanitary facilities available. The only thing missing is bins. Thanks to the municipality.
Thanks to the municipality for this free and quiet parking area. Visiting the castle is a must, with a guide who is passionate about its history.
Pleasant area, a shame it is sloping! Playground for children next door. Close to the castle and shops, which is very convenient! To introduce children to the village in a fun way, there is an interactive treasure hunt combining history, heritage and riddles on the Legendr app!
This year, parking is prohibited this Easter weekend because of the fairground and flea market.
Lovely small, free, tree-lined area, but very sloped; my leveling blocks were not enough to level my motorhome. No matter, we slept well. As Jack says, please use the hatch in the grass to the right of the taps to empty the toilet cassette. It is unpleasant to find waste on the gray-water drain grate.
Thanks to the municipality for this area. Too bad it is so sloped. Very pleasant to visit, with small shops and a supermarket. Regarding emptying the cassette, look on the grass at the end of the taps for the round hatch.
