KA27 8DE, Isle of Arran
Been here?
This is a flat, quiet parking area beside the mountain rescue centre, with beach access and coastal walking nearby. It is suitable for day or overnight parking, although it can become busy with walkers and people heading towards Goatfell. There are waste and recycling bins, but no other facilities. Brodick Castle, the brewery, shops and restaurants are close by, and donations to mountain rescue are welcomed.

Can be busy with locals walking from here and people heading up Goatfell, but managed to get a space and had a lovely quiet night and a morning walk on the beach just next to the parking area. Definitely donate to the Mountain Rescue Centre if you stay here, they allow use of this place and as a volunteer organisation doing life saving work are some of the unsung heroes of the wilderness we enjoy
Great park up for the night. Quiet night.
Nice flat pitches with easy access to the beach. Brewery shop and gift shops nearby. Path up to Goat Fell. Donate to mountain rescue (donation point in the car park) if you can
Great spot next to the beach
A brilliant spot for day/ overnight parking at the mountain rescue centre. Its safe, welcoming and off the road with lots if spaces. No facilities yet across the road is the restaurant The Wine Port. Also you can walk through to the beach on the other side for a great view. If you stay please donate to the centre as they don't charge right now.
Enjoyed a two night stay. Very happy to make a donation each night. 2 min walk to beach, headed along coast path to Brodick for take out pizza (delicious). Next day hiked up Goatfell, path starts over the road from park up. Easy access to Brodick Castle. Great spot, road quiet at night, bins and water available. Shared with several vans but not full. Police come to check, all good.
Nice parking area. Full at 7 p.m. You are right by the beach, and across the road is a lovely walking area around the castle gardens, among other things. Highly recommended!
Quite a popular stop, very quiet at night and lovely walk to Brodick on the Fisherman's path. Free but left a donation with the Mountain Rescue
lovely little spot, stayed for two night, very quiet, small walk to the beach, where you can walk along the beach and do fishmans walk. their is cocktail bar around the corner, and lovely little cafe and arran brewery.
Fantastic location for exploring Glen Rosa, Goatfell & the beach. Bins available. Popular car park. Walking distance to pub & brewery & cheese shop. Peaceful nights - we stayed two nights.
Mountain rescue car park with donation box. Handy for visiting the castle and the brewery. 29/7/24
Great little stopover just outside Brodick donation box for mountain rescue well worth giving. Recommend you walk over bridge to a stunning beach and views. Just next door is a fab gin & cocktail beach bar. Enough room for 7-8 motorhomes and over the road is a few craft shops, garden centre and coffee/snack cafe really nice.
A great stopping area, great views a short walk through the woods. All you need within a few minutes walk. 10 minutes to Brodick. Please leave a donation in the mountain rescue box.
Lovely flat tarmac, lots of spaces. No facilities. Quiet road, not disturbed.
