50 Friedrichshafnerstrasse, 8590, Romanshorn
Been here?
Large parking area next to the Romanshorn marina/harbour, around a hundred spaces, mostly flat with slight slope. No services on site; toilets and showers about 100m or 15 minutes away near the harbour office/lake bath. Costs roughly 1 CHF/hour or 7 CHF per 24h. Generally quiet at night despite boatyard work starting around 7-7:30am. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and a small park; some report it crowded with cars/boats or occasionally approached and redirected elsewhere.

Completely occupied by cars, except for one motorhome. It seems to be in a shipyard area. The location is unattractive; I would not stay overnight and drove on.
Very nice place to stay overnight. Very quiet, and the shipyard does not start work until 7:30 a.m., allowing for a peaceful night. Restaurants and bars are within walking distance. Toilet and shower 100 meters away at the harbor master's office. We were completely alone.
In February 2025, everything was fully occupied by boats. At 3 p.m. there were no parking spaces available.
Perfect for one night. Quiet place facing the harbor. A short walk leads to restaurants, bars, and a pleasant park.
We spent one night here. It is okay, nothing more. Be careful during the week, as the workshops open at 7 a.m., so you are guaranteed to be woken up. Close to the lake for swimming and close to the town.
Nice place to stay for the night – and watch the sunrise over the lake.
Very nice motorhome pitch directly on Lake Constance. You park at the boat harbor and are in the beautiful town within 2–3 minutes on foot. The €7 was well worth it in our opinion. In the evening we had a very tasty pizza at Da Massimo, and in the morning breakfast at Kornhaus; both are highly recommended. You get a beautiful sunrise directly over the lake.
Maybe we arrived too early in the day, on Monday afternoon, but we were immediately approached and asked whether they could direct us to somewhere else.
We spent 2 nights here on two different occasions - both times got lucky to get one of the three parallel spots by the water. Busy during the day with the nautical workshop but very quiet at night. And nice walks into the small park and village nearby.
