Quiet meadow site, pool access included

Large pitches and plenty of them. Short walk into town or into the parks. Plenty of free offers from the tourist board within the price. Lovely small SPA town with beautiful gardens and castle.

It is very quiet at night. The pitches are reasonably large. The restaurant by the tennis courts next door offers delicious pizzas and some extremely tasty Tunisian dishes.

Stayed here for 3 nights on the Pentecost weekend. Site was generally full. Registered on line before paying at the Tourist Information. Ladies were lovely and helpful. Service point is about 100m away. Toilets are available at the tourist information centre. Fee includes access to pool and also spa (bit further away). Local town interesting and walks nearby.

We liked the motorhome site, and for €17 plus tourist tax you can use the bus and swimming pool for free. The spa gardens and castle museum are also free. The thermal baths were free for the first 1.5 hours and are also recommended.

The site now costs €17 plus tourist tax. The animal park, at €12.50, did not impress us. The palms had been put out in the spa park, but otherwise nothing had been planted yet.

Very nice place. With the guest card, we could use the nearby Pyrmonter Welle swimming pool for free. Good value for money. In the evening we visited the pizzeria next to the motorhome site by the tennis courts. The excellent pizza is worth every indulgence.

For what is offered, €15 is simply too much, since neither electricity nor fresh water is included. The service and disposal point is some distance away; anyone carrying a can gets their morning exercise. At least there is plenty of space for vehicles. Overall, other towns and municipalities do this better.

Why is this a top site? Payment is awkward at the Tourist Information office, although the ladies there are very nice—great praise for them! The service and disposal facilities are outside, and you sometimes have to walk a long way to get water. No toilet or shower at the site. Wi-Fi is also somewhat unreliable. The location in town is good, and everything is easy to reach on foot. An ordinary site, but not a top site.

In one word: excellent! This motorhome site is on the edge of Bad Pyrmont and offers great pitches with views of meadows and hills. When we paid the parking fee, we received a Bad Pyrmont card for free. This means 1.5 hours of access to the Hufeland thermal baths each day. Wow, that is a luxury few places offer for free! The bakery is within walking distance in the town center.

We contacted the tourist information office beforehand and received a positive reply. When we arrived late Friday afternoon, the site was full. Some motorhome owners needed two spaces. Well, we continued to Camping Schellental. That was a good choice!

Nice, clean, well-maintained motorhome site. The toilet is at the Tourist Information office, a short walk away. Fresh and grey water are also a little far away, so it is best to take care of them beforehand. Showers are available at the outdoor pool, also a short walk away. But the site itself is lovely—we will return.

Clean site on the edge of town with palm decorations. Quiet location with views of nature. Electricity available, and service and disposal possible. Showers at the outdoor pool; toilets at the Tourist Information office 200 meters away. The site must be vacated by 2 p.m. on the day of departure.

Clean stellplatz with flat pitches. Easy to use the automat for electricity. Intresting voices from the Zoo next door but quiet at night. It would be nice to be able to change the photos of this place because it’s much better than you can imagion from these current pics. We stayed only one night and came after the tourist office were closed it doors so we paid the fee next morning before our leave

Actually a nice site. But why the operator keeps unused electricity credit is beyond me.

Very nice motorhome site; the Park4Night pictures do not do it justice. Wonderful views of the Weserbergland. Even on entering, you drive through a small palm avenue. Toilets are available at the Tourist Information office and swimming pool. You can shower free of charge at the latter. Many attractions are free, plus buses to the Externsteine and Hermannsdenkmal. It was very nice.

Beautiful site, friendly registration, and finally a tourist tax that provides real value. Highly recommended.

Bad Pyrmont is worth a trip. This motorhome site, directly next to a small animal park, is excellent. You can watch the monkeys in the trees from here. There are large palms and sunny and shaded pitches with electricity. Water and disposal are outside the site because it is in a floodplain. The ladies at the Tourist Information office collect the fees and are extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you. Happy to return!

We are here for the second time already and will certainly return! I rarely write comments, but I simply have to for Bad Pyrmont. The site is beautiful, quiet, and very fair-priced, as the fee includes entry to the indoor pool, 1.5 hours at the thermal baths, and other discounts. And the thermal baths are simply amazing. There is also a great Tunisian restaurant right at the site.

Adequate site for exploring the town and surrounding area. Everything you need is available. You can shower for free at Bad Pyrmonter Welle and receive even more discounts with the spa card.

Yesterday we got the second-to-last space. This morning we registered at the Tourist Information office and received the PyrmontCard Plus. It allows bus travel and one free visit per day to the nearby wave pool. We went to the Hufeland thermal baths, spending the whole day including the sauna for €8. We will definitely return.

The welcome is very friendly, with lots of tips. €20 including the premium spa card, with free entry to the indoor swimming pool and saltwater baths plus various discounts, was a great deal. The pizzeria serving Tunisian food is highly recommended!

Office was closed when we arrived. Went out into to town for drinks, plenty open even on a Monday night. Paid for 2 nights the next morning €33.60 got cards that gave access to the gardens which are lovely and spent the afternoon at the therme . The tennis club next to the site is open to non members , lovely couple running it open 10am-10pm and do pizza to eat in or take away.

After arriving, we chose a nice pitch and registered with the friendly lady at the Tourist Information office. For €20.90 including tourist tax, we could stay one night. Electricity costs about €0.80/kWh. Unfortunately, the toilets are a little farther away. We were able to dispose of our black water free of charge. Beautiful location and very quiet at night because the zoo animals were also asleep.

Very nice motorhome site with palms. Occasionally you can hear the monkeys and donkey from the animal park right next door. Registration at the Tourist Information office during opening hours. They forgot to tell us that the receipt should be placed visibly in the motorhome and that departure is required by 3 p.m. We are happy to return, though. Everything is within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants and cafés.

Quietly located and very relaxing, bordered by an animal park, large open meadows, and a narrow paved path. Large pitches with grass and fine gravel, available freely. For TV reception, avoid the side opposite the entrance. Depending on the pitch, more than 20 m of cable is recommended for electricity. During prolonged rain, there is occasional surface water.

Very central, directly next to the zoo. You can hear the lions from time to time.

We are here again for the second time. The site was busy. We got the second-to-last pitch and were well positioned near the zoo, listening to the animal sounds. The pitches are generously sized, so there is plenty of room for an awning and furniture. We visited the castle, palm garden, and museum. We will gladly return. East Frisian.

Thanks for the excellent advice from Ms. Latzke and Ms. Ullrich at the Tourist Information office. Apart from some huge potholes that should be repaired before the season starts, the motorhome site is excellent. The zoo, swimming pool, and town center are all quickly reachable on foot. The spa card pays for itself. Some campers are selfish and park in a way that wastes spaces.

Beautiful, large site—even at this time of year. The town is within walking distance. A worthwhile town with a great park, surely beautiful in summer, and a castle, unfortunately closed on Mondays. Great for dogs. Electricity via posts. Grey water, fresh water, and toilet emptying are possible in the large parking area in front. Today there were few puddles, since it had not rained for three days.

The new price is €15 tourist tax. Given the discounts you get, it is still okay.
