A spacious, flat and shaded parking area at the start of marked trails, close to a climbing area and sporting and botanical paths. It is generally quiet, though some cars, aircraft and occasional route noise can be heard. There are no bins or water, and access via the D1V may be difficult for vehicles over 7m.

The forest track meets a small road. There is shade and well-signposted paths. Good place to eat and also sleep. No bins or water.
Good for spending the night. Quiet, although you can hear some cars. Easy to reach and spacious.
Quiet spot despite the road noise, plenty of space and level ground. People lack civility, as there was rubbish towards the back of the parking area, of several types. Also, there seems to be an air corridor above the area, as I heard planes all evening until late at night and again early this morning.. Fortunately, you can still hear the birds ☺️
Wonderful to wake up to birdsong. We had a quiet night. However, the approach via the D1V is probably a challenge for larger vehicles over 7 m.
We had a quiet night and were able to take a lovely walk in the morning. We were parked reasonably level.
We were there alone last night and it was so quiet. A few cars arrived in the morning, but otherwise hardly anything was happening. The parking area is relatively level, as described :)
