75 Hauptstraße, 83324, Ruhpolding
Been here?
Central motorhome parking for up to 12 vehicles, with a maximum stay of 48 hours and no motorhome services. The fee is 10€ for 24 hours, paid by coins or an envelope; card payment has not worked. The road is moderately noisy, especially in the morning, although nights can be quiet. A bakery is about 230 m away, the train station about 300 m away, and Vita Alpina is 2 minutes on foot.

We stayed here for two nights. Perfectly reasonable price. Barbecues are allowed, but only gas grills. The pitches are very deep, so there is plenty of space in front of or behind the motorhome to spend time. For a basic pitch without services, you can't expect more than what is provided here.
Enough space to officially stay overnight. Bins available. Card payment did not work, so I had to give up my coin collection. I find €10 for 24 hours expensive since nothing else is offered, but it is still the cheapest in the region. The road is moderately noisy. The form to fill out was no longer available. I saw no checking of parking tickets.
Pleasant pitch for about 12 motorhomes. No services, so suitable only for self-sufficient motorhomes. We were unable to pay the €10 with our regular Mastercard bank cards, even though we use them throughout Europe. In the end, we paid with coins. The machines should be improved. Otherwise everything was great and quiet. The light traffic did not bother us.
Motorhome parking area, very central at an intersection. Yes, it can be somewhat noisy, but from 7:30 p.m. the traffic lights are even switched off and we had a quiet night. The pitch costs €10 via an honesty box. Plenty of bins. Butcher and baker just around the corner. Thanks to the town for this place.
The place is clean and there were always spaces available. As others have already described, the traffic is somewhat noisy in the morning. There are no water services or electricity. €10 in an envelope is required.
Good place for a stopover. In the evening, you can walk two minutes to the thermal baths and use the evening rate. It was quiet at night. Everything else has already been described.
Near the center. Bakery about 230 meters away. Train station with free toilets about 300 meters away. Public toilet in the spa park costs 50 cents and can also be paid cashless. Written registration and payment of €10 per night in an envelope into the mailbox on site at the pitch. Maximum stay 48 hours. Relatively noisy due to road traffic. Nice town center with many places to eat.
Good pitch for one night. At night, we only heard the stream. The road became somewhat noisier in the morning. There are public toilets within walking distance. The toilets at the station were clean and free, although the toilet paper was gone in the evening and replenished early in the morning. You need 50 cents for the toilet hut in the spa park.
Good, centrally located parking area, yet with direct access to the spa park and hiking trails. Absolutely no noise at night despite the nearby main road. Tip: 300 meters toward the center, the Chiemgau Café serves a good breakfast from 8 a.m., including on Sundays. Unfortunately, there is practically no infrastructure apart from an overflowing bin.
Very nice place and close to the center, ideal for passing through or a short stay in Ruhpolding. Quiet pitch right by the stream. Bins available, and everything is fine for €10. We would gladly return.
The pitch now costs €10 for 24 hours. Heavy traffic during the day and from 6 a.m.; you park right beside a main road with a large intersection. It was quieter at night.
Although the pitch is on the main road, it was relatively quiet at night. Very central, with quick access to the town and the wave pool. We would stay here again.
Pleasant and basic. In the evening, you can take a walk around beautiful Ruhpolding, but you must be self-sufficient. I will definitely come again.
I stayed here for one night, and the parking area is perfectly adequate for that. You should be able to stay self-sufficiently, as there are no sanitary facilities or electrical hookups. It only costs €7 per day, though. Close to the center, quiet at night, and in the morning you have a wonderful view of the mountains.
Very nice place. Only put cash in a letter, and stay for up to 48h. Walk distans to centrum with shops, bank, and restaurant.
Beautiful, clean parking area with two bins. Toilets about 200 meters away at the station, very clean. A very good bakery around the corner, highly recommended. Quiet at night despite the road. We would come here again.
A parking area directly beside a busy intersection. No services, and even rubbish disposal is difficult because the bins are usually full. No particular reason to stay in beautiful Ruhpolding.
