894 Chemin du Mas Saint-Jean, 34970, Lattes
Been here?
This natural roadside spot between Lattes and Pérols has room for about 3 vans, although 2 are preferable for more space. It is generally peaceful, with fields, flowers and vines nearby, no services, and working 4G. By car, it is 5 minutes from Lattes, 10 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes from shops. Mosquitoes can be numerous, especially in warmer conditions; tents are not allowed, but all vehicle types are authorized.

Peaceful and quiet.
Simple parking area with space for 3–4 campers on the edge of a lightly trafficked road. I had a quiet night. There are mosquitoes, and they can be annoying, but they didn't bother me.
Already far too many mosquitoes. We arrived, parked the van, and within five minutes there were huge numbers of them, so we left for the parallel street behind the other field.
Our second night here, several weeks apart. Nothing special to report except peace and quiet in a little natural spot on the outskirts of Montpellier. Beside a very lightly trafficked road.
A very nice pitch surrounded by nature and flowers Lot of activities
Absolutely avoid. We were attacked by two individuals just after going to bed, even though we were quiet. They claimed they had had enough of vans—insults, physical threats... in short, very sad!
Be careful; it seems that some people don't want vans parking here. Many nails had been thrown onto the spot, especially on the front spaces. I removed some, but there may still be others. Otherwise, we had a very good stay here. See you on the road!
Excellent! Not a single car. Quite a lot of shade. We stopped just a little before this, like in the second photo where the no-dumping sign is.
I do not recommend it at all... yes, it is well located, but it is a dog-walking area where dogs are off leash. Our dog was attacked by a pit bull, and we had to urgently see a vet! It could very well have attacked our daughter... not to mention the excrement and toilet paper everywhere.
Very quiet, fine for one night.
Nice place for one night, exactly as described. When we were there, three other vehicles were parked too. Gladly again.
The spot is really nice, surrounded by nature and with views of lots of wildflowers! The only drawback is that we found there was quite a lot of traffic. Maybe there is more traffic during the week. Walkers, cyclists, and vehicles pass fairly regularly. The downside of a roadside spot!
A nice pitch! Eight vans around the pitch today!
Very beautiful spot! Especially at this time of year, when the poppies are in bloom!
Good location for taking the train to Montpellier. Directly beside a small road that is not heavily trafficked, but many people walk their dogs here. Unfortunately, dog mess is everywhere.
We spent two nights here and were completely alone. Very little traffic, so although it is beside a road, it is very quiet. It is useful in a pinch. Close to Lattes and the tram to Montpellier.
