Canal parking, quiet nights

A very beautiful parking area. I stayed there for one night because nothing else was available. It was very quiet. Only a few anglers. The locals are very nice and all greeted us warmly.

Okay for panel vans; for motorhomes the roadside strip is too narrow, as regular buses also use this road. No shade at all.

It takes so little to spend a day by the water and unwind from everyday life and worries. Many thanks for this gem of a camping spot, also suitable for one or two larger motorhomes.

Narrow parking strip directly beside the canal. Panel vans can still park without problems. It should not be much wider. Dream view of the boats. Very quiet. This is how it should be.

Very quiet parking spot at night; in the morning, from 7 a.m., the gentle chugging of the boats softly wakes you from sleep into the day. During the day there are some dog walkers and cyclists. Good starting point for bike tours.

Very beautiful place to chill and relax. I am standing here looking at the canal, listening to birdsong, and occasionally waving to passing boats. I could imagine spending a night here in my small camper.

Quiet spot by the canal. Fine for one night. Little traffic, just a few dog walkers. But on Saturday morning around 6 a.m., the anglers arrived. We were alone in the evening; by morning there were probably 12 cars around us. You can also take a lovely walk or cycle along the canal.

Ideal for one night. You park nicely by the canal. A few walkers in the evening and tractors passing by in the morning.
