This roadside parking area is beside the tunnel and marks the start of the hike to the Vélodrome d'Esclangon belvedere. The route follows impressive gorges and a river, with a natural climbing wall and walking trails nearby. Vehicles up to 3m10 high can access the gorges despite a 2m80 sign, but passing another vehicle in the tunnels is difficult.
