This is a quiet daytime parking area beside a small local road used by residents, farmers, walkers, and dogwalkers. The highway is audible in the distance, and the Retovje climbing site is nearby. Camping is prohibited by law because the site lies within the protected Ljubljansko barje area.

I'm writing on behalf of Krajinski park Ljubljansko barje Landscape Park to inform you that camping at this site (or any other wild camping sites within the protected area of Ljubljansko barje) is not allowed and is punishable by law. The police, municipal security and the park rangers are monitoring the site regularly.
Such a quite night! A walker told us there were bears around and we heard one bear in the night! But so quiet and so nice, sometimes the locals look a bit confused but if you say hi they are nice. Please keep the place clean and take your toiletpaper with you !!!!!
