Been here?
A gravel motorhome area with four power points beside the Falls of Shin park and an on-site café. Parking costs £2 for the first hour and £1 per hour thereafter, while black-water disposal costs £7. The fresh-water tap is currently broken, and the grey-water drain is blocked and unusable. Bins and café toilets are available, but the facilities have recently been described as dirty.

Nice place but fresh warter is broken. We asked in the cafe about another tap and were allowed to get water from somewhere else. It's quite difficult to get there, but it's possible.
Great spot, but recently parking fees were introduced: £2 for the first hour, then £1 per hour. That is quite steep considering everything else costs extra too. No thanks, not this time.Translating
The price is determined by the number of hours you stay. So, if you arrive at 6 p.m. and leave at 9 a.m., it costs £16. Perfect place if you do not need to dump anything; otherwise add £7. We are here alone and in peace.Translating
We emptied the black water without any problem; it is reasonably clean (£7). Fresh water is free. Emptying grey water requires a hose, which is less convenient than a ground drain.Translating
The grey-water drain is blocked and therefore unusable.Translating
Only useful if desperate for "free" fresh water, but parking charges £2.20 with app fee for first hour, £1 per hour thereafter, and £7 for the worst black waste tipping point I've ever seen. Utterly grim Do remember that any Private Parking Charges issued in Scotland are not enforceable for vehicles registered in England {POFA 2012 Sch. 4}
Warning you have to pay for parking as well as the services you need. the place was filthy with no way of flushing the black waste the grey water was overflowing and blocked and running across the car park and into the woods. some one had left the fresh water tap running which had helped clear the area but it still smelt really badly. avoid if possible !!!
£2 to fill our 100L water tank, can’t complain. The water is free but £2 for an hour parking. £7 for black and grey waste disposal. Bins on site & cafe with toilets
Be careful not to exceed the car park time limit by even a second! I bought a ticket for an hour, walked to the lovely falls, then stopped and spent money at the café on tea and cake. I came back to a £100 fine for being a few minutes over the hour. Brutal. It feels like pure greed.Translating
Quiet and fairly level.. we loved the bar restaurant on site. it's quite expensive however so be prepared.. £2 per hour and thereafter £1 per hour so actually parking not so bad. £7 to empty chemical waste. water and bins are free. if tou want to hook up then it's £5 for 1 hour £12 for 3 hours £17 for 6 hours and onwards. There are cameras as you come in, £100 fine if even a minute over. !
Very beautiful, very clean, very practical, and the bar staff next door are super friendly!Translating
AVOID at all costs!!! Parking fine £100 issued for not paying carpark charge, only called to empty wastes and refill with water which we paid for!!! Obviously want payment for both!
Very large parking area, with services on site, but payment is via a machine: €2 for one hour, then €2 for each additional hour. You must choose the desired duration during the first transaction, otherwise you pay another first hour at €2.Translating
Good flat gravel car park with some amenities. A bit more expensive than we thought it was worth but overall a quiet nights sleep.
Very quiet and level. There's the option to pay for 17 hours instead of 24 hours which saves about £7. Chemical toilet disposal is £7, free drinking water tap and waste water disposal. Toilets locked overnight but playground remains open. Lovely staff at the cafe which opens at 9am.
We stayed here only for our daughter's afternoon nap. Large gravel area next to picnic benches/playground. Due to a recent fire, the visitor center and toilet are currently closed; they are busy renovating. Otherwise, it is beautifully laid out and a great place for a nice walk.Translating
Beautiful motorhome area, very clean, all emptying and filling facilities for £7. There is also the possibility of connecting to electricity for £5 for 1 hour, £7 for 3 hours, £12 for 6 hours and £20 for 12 hours. You must also pay for parking: £2 for 1 hour and £1 for each additional hour. There is a beautiful view of a stream below and lovely walks in the forest.Translating
This has become a money making rip off I left and will never stay again.
The parking is fine... the dump and refill station could be nice, but it's not. It stinks, the grey water overflows, there's no flush on the CDP. The fresh water tap is a dribble, which is horrible whilst you are being eaten alive by the flies waiting for your tank to fill.
We stayed when it was free, sorry but wouldn’t be paying £25 to park and sleep. Just doesn’t make sense unless overnight parking is trying to be discouraged and if that’s the case just shut the parking when staff leave and make announcement on this app.
We only stopped to see the waterfall and use the service facilities. The app doesn't work; you have to go to the café to pay. £2 for the day. We didn't stay overnight. Everything worked very well for the services and everything was free.Translating
Beware of the fine and the insects!Translating
We wanted to park in this car park to see the fish jumping at Falls of Shin. The car park is a 4-minute walk from the waterfall. However, paying for parking is very complicated. We tried calling, but it doesn't work with a French number. The app can't find this car park either. The only way to pay for parking is to go to the café and consume something.Translating
£25/24h (elec extra) which you must pay for via an app. Camera controlled entry/exit with £100 fine if you don't pay within 10 minutes (difficult with the app). Seems overly expensive for a car park.
The payment app does not work with a non-British mobile number. Payment by telephone is also impossible—the telephone number is not recognized. You cannot register by phone or through the app. What a shame—someone here only thought about making money and didn't think things through.Translating
Payment by app or telephone call, no coins. £25 for 24 hours + extra for waste or electric. Cameras installed and payment must be made within 10 minutes.
Unfortunately, the warning had not yet been published yesterday when we were traveling there, so we made the detour for nothing. You have 10 minutes to understand everything and pay with an app; otherwise, a £100 fine is threatened.Translating
Warning ! 08/06/24 new charge of £25 for an overnight stay plus £7 cdu plus very expensive ehu. You could end up paying over £40 per night. Nice place, but not worth those prices !
Generally a flat space for lots of vans - new owners have opened a breakfast / cafe area which was well stocked and reasonably priced. As mentioned there is an honesty box (£10) just as you enter the parking area, but it wasn't very well sign-posted when we stayed in early May. Overall, a good stopover which had a number of walking trails to enjoy.
The site now costs £10 for an overnight stay. All other services can be added. Payment is through the honesty box.Translating
