Riverside picnic stop, mosquitoes

What a fabulous place to camp right on the water. We arrived at 11:30 pm and got to watch the sun set for hours over the water from the nice beach here. The facilities were clean and there were picnic tables, changing rooms, and a firepit available. Also many opportunities for fishing in the area. Just bring your mosquito spray or net in the summer.

Super beautiful site, but not free. You are asked to transfer a voluntary fee of €10. Everything is explained on a sign.

Quiet and beautiful pitch; we stayed overnight with one other camper. The road is barely used, and there was complete silence at night.

A wonderful place that has been created here. Unfortunately, we had no firewood. The toilets were unfortunately very dirty. Otherwise, a very beautiful place for several motorhomes, with fire pits, swimming spots, and seating areas. Please keep it clean.

Really awesome spot, great view, bbqs on site for fine and not so fine days, level parking, friendly people what else do you need. It appears they had been doing some clearing work before we arrived and it looks great. If we had more time we would have stayed another night. We wish more countries adopted the same idea as sites like this leave you with find memories of a place.

An absolute idyll. We enjoyed the peace, ate delicious grilled food from the barbecue hut (be sure to bring something to grill), and took a refreshing swim in the lake. However, there were quite a lot of campers here, probably because it was high season, and the place offers absolute luxury. Thank you for this wonderful spot.

Good spot for a quick stop or a nights stay. Clean dry toilets, a hut for cooking food and a couple of picnic tables and a nice beach. All surrounded by very picturesque finnish birch trees and nature.

Magnificent, peaceful place in the middle of nature, with no noise. The only drawback is the mosquitoes—there are loads of them. If you are passing by, do not hesitate to stop; it is really worth it.

Nice view, plenty of space, and three places to make a fire. The only downside was that there was no firewood; apparently someone stole it after the storage had last been filled—not campers, just someone else. Stayed for one night. The dry toilets were surprisingly clean, almost Norway-clean :D. I will definitely visit again if I am nearby.

The most fantastic overnight spot during our Finland tour—we have often stayed in similarly solitary places. Everything was at its best and there was total peace in May. I cannot say what it is like during the season. The icing on the cake would be electricity at the hookup, but you cannot have everything. Please leave no rubbish, and thank you to the operators.

Fantastic place. A covered area/hut where firewood is ready for making a fire, with excellent barbecue facilities. Lovely swimming water and pleasant seating by the water.

Beautiful, peaceful pitch. There is a lot of activity at the boat slipway, even at night. However, it is not disturbing because it is far enough away.
