16 Avenue de Saint-Cloud, 78000, Versailles
Been here?
Paid parking 3 minutes from Versailles Palace and train station. Short stays cost €5–7. Recent reports indicate motorhome parking may not be officially allowed. Parking is often chaotic with irregularly placed vehicles. A posted sign forbids overnight stays. Not suitable for peaceful overnight rest.

Probably good, but the parking area is full of vans that look as though they are permanently parked there. Many people also park very inconsiderately. We drove on.
Exactly right for visiting Versailles. We paid €6.60 for three hours. Overnight stays are probably safe, but it would not be for us.
I give it one star because the parking service allowed me to visit the palace and the city. The location is very good if you can find a space, but it is not designed for large vehicles. Since all cars are allowed to enter, they park wherever they can and it becomes complete chaos. But it is the only one available.
Motorhomes are not permitted, as is almost everywhere in Versailles.
Parking with a motorhome across two parking spaces is possible. We found a shaded parking spot, although it is somewhat tight under the trees.
Very good location for visiting the Palace of Versailles. However, the spaces are narrow and limited, but at least this option exists.
In ordinary times this is ok but it is CLOSED OFF totally due to the Olympics at the moment and horrible to get out of once you turn in. We parked on the street free in Rue de Pont Colbert on the way to Porchefontaine for free- it will be noisy overnight but we are pretty desperate!
Parking motorhomes is prohibited.
Parked for a few hours while visiting Versailles with a 7,5m camper van. Paid €5 and was worth every penny to be this close. We came at 4:00pm and did not stay the night.
Good and the only one parking for campervan to visit Versailles. To stay with a vehicle more than 6 meters you have to park in 2 places. We have paid just for one with no problem at all.
Great parking spot, centrally located and with plenty of space for motorhomes. We felt safe there.
Please note that there is a paper at the entrance saying that overnight stays are forbidden.
Attention, the parking area is closed until November 15 because of the fairground.
Adequate parking for a visit to this area. Near to the palace, bars, restaurants and shops. Reasonably quiet.
Unfortunately, there is no place to park. Well located for the gardens. The car park is called Europe and the street you enter from may make you hesitate, but yes, that is the one—go in confidently.
Good parking next to the Palace of Versailles, about a five-minute walk away. The price may be somewhat expensive for the services provided—only water—but given the location, I suppose that is normal. €20 for 10 hours. We had no problems with security or peace and quiet, and there was barely any traffic noise.
It is the Europe car park. We stopped to visit the Palace of Versailles; there are few other options where you can do so. We did not spend the night.
We spent a perfect night, no noise and next to Versailles. A good experience.
