Colada de Fuente del Olmo, 26257, Bañares
Been here?
A large campsite with a motorhome area and electricity, plus a swimming pool, multisport area, paddle, playground and aquapark. The newer motorhome pitches have no shade, and the pool can be crowded with very cold water. Recent reports also describe noise from the mainly residential campsite, although the motorhome area can be quiet at night. A camper, 2 people and electricity cost €49,00, while large washing machines cost €7,00.

Area without shade, noisy campsite because it is almost entirely occupied by permanent residents. Only one swimming pool for the whole campsite, overcrowded and with very cold water. Reception not very friendly. The campsite has too many stars; they charge for everything—paddle tennis, tennis, and so on.
I don't know what it is like in August, but during Easter it is very pleasant and quiet. No noise at night in the motorhome area. The campsite staff are very attentive. Don't follow the GPS; it will take you down a dirt track, which is a bad idea. Access is directly from the N120, between the Hervías and Santo Domingo de la Calzada exits.
The pitches in the new part of the campsite have no shade. This is where the slides are, while the pool and reception are 500 meters away. The pool is too small for so many people on hot days. The bathrooms were very dirty and the showers were flooded. There is water at every pitch, but the tap has a large threaded connection. The campsite has a couple too many stars.
Beautiful campsite with good sanitary facilities. Each pitch has its own water connection: very convenient! Large washing machines (€7.00). For a camper, two people, and electricity, we paid €49.00. Far too expensive; many people will travel farther. €25.00 would be more than enough!
Mobile-home campsite. There are also spacious pitches for campers at the back, on the grass among young trees. Now, in the low season, there are only a few campers and it is very quiet here. Plenty of showers, toilets, and washing-up areas with hot water. Pay attention to the signs; the campsite entrance is near the roundabout.
Not a bad campsite. We arrived late, at 10 p.m., and paid €56 for three adults and three children without electricity. Departure before noon and late arrival are possible, at least in season. We ate at the snack bar, thinking it would be quick, but waited more than an hour even though it was not crowded.
We had nowhere to sleep in Logroño—we wanted a campsite—so we came to Bañares, about 30 minutes away, and what a wonderful place! It has all the services and amenities you could need. Bathrooms, showers, and toilets are open 24 hours. The pitches are very spacious. We went in August and the night was very, very cool. The atmosphere is completely family-friendly. Highly recommended!
The pitch prices are far too high. In addition, to get a shaded pitch in the old part of the campsite, you have to purchase 10-amp electricity. Very noisy at night. On the first day, the campsite held a concert until 3:30 a.m., and the following night families were talking on the terrace, with children filling the swings at midnight without any supervision.
Large campsite without shade for motorhomes. Choice of 7- or 10-amp electricity. Very expensive for the services offered. €57 for four people with a camper and 7-amp electricity. Not recommended.
Bare pitches with almost no shade, electricity very expensive (€8), although it should actually be free with ACSI. In September, almost all facilities were already closed, such as the swimming pool, or only open for very limited hours. We quickly moved on after one night.
