Lakeside parking, low weight limit

Very nice place. I like it. This is my second time here. A very peaceful and comfortable night, although a train comes by occasionally in the evening and morning, which does not seem to disqualify the place. No toilets or drinking water, but that is not always a problem. A good place for a walk around the lake or to start a bicycle trip through the nearby area and even farther afield. Several smaller vans can park here comfortably, and there is room for large RVs too. Recommended.

We only stopped to eat lunch. Nice place; we saw no prohibition signs or weight-limit signs, but the road here is quite narrow. No rubbish bins.

Very nice parking area; we saw no restriction on permitted gross weight. We stayed here during the day and went to the kiosk opposite and swimming.

Warning: access only up to 2.8 tonnes.

There are many cars coming and going. It is also a meeting place for young people. There was too much coming and going for me, so we left.

As already mentioned, anyone who likes peace and quiet should sleep with earplugs. Otherwise, it is a great pitch where overnight stays are tolerated by the angling club. During the day, the parking spaces fill quickly, so you may even get blocked in. The view is wonderful!

Pleasant place. You can park almost directly by the water and have a beautiful view of the lake. You can get coffee from a small snack stand on the other side of the lake, about a 15-minute walk away. You can hear the motorway and rail traffic—this is the Ruhr region, after all.
