207 levée de la Divatte, 44450, La Chapelle-Basse-Mer
Been here?
A pleasant Loire-side parking area with a large relaxation and picnic space, trees and nearby ponds offering birdwatching and short walks. Recent comments describe a calm night, with some early morning traffic, and no services are provided. Access involves descending through chicanes, with plenty of space under the trees for vehicles that fit. A nearby guinguette may cause noise from Wednesday to Saturday evening, and parking capacity is limited.

Very beautiful place. For cars, drive down and pass through the chicanes. There is plenty of space under the trees, including some spots far from everyone else for privacy. Recycling bins are available, and there is a little open-air café farther on; it may be noisy from Wednesday to Saturday evening.
Very quiet pitch. We saw many birds on the ponds. There is a short walk, ideal for children or dogs.
Quiet pitch. Despite the signs, only high-clearance vehicles are allowed, though some motorists still park there. Parking is limited in number.
Quiet night, with some traffic early in the morning but nothing too bothersome. We were alone for the night.
Refreshment bar nearby, ideal for sleeping after the evening out!
We just spent the night there. Nice place, little traffic, refreshment bar nearby and a beautiful walk. Indeed, there is not much space, but parking is tolerated and there is no barrier. You can't have everything on the banks of the Loire.
Awful, tiny and occupied by marginalized people. Cars have a huge parking area after the height barriers but come here; one wonders why!
Pleasant, picnic areas nearby, very close to the road but little traffic.
Quiet place to spend the night. Very peaceful and easy access.
