Mountain parking, morning noise

This free, somewhat sloping parking spot is on the heights of Gap, near woodland, with mountain views and generally calm nights. Occasional cars pass, and the nearby RC circuit or mini-karting area can be noisy in the morning. The city is about 10min away by bicycle downhill, while walkers and activities may appear during the day.

Calm place for sleeping.
Very nice, very quiet location. We arrived at 10:30 p.m.; unfortunately, two motorhomes were taking up the whole space! We managed to fit in anyway, but we were on a slope and there was no room for a fourth vehicle... That's a shame—think of others... Not everyone can arrive early.
As far as we are concerned, an excellent spot. We were the only ones there. A very quiet night after a pleasant walk. An occasional passing car, but that also stopped after 9 p.m. More than suitable for an overnight stay.
Relaxed parking area. We cycled from there into town, about 10 minutes, although downhill. Afterwards we spent a quiet night there. They drove on the RC-car track; we could hear it, but it did not bother us. A few walkers in the morning, but everyone was very friendly.
Very good place to spend the night. Mountain views. There were only two of us on site. Be careful, though, about the mini-karting next door, which can be noisy in the morning.
Very quiet place in the hills above Gap. A small dead-end road with very little traffic, at least outside the season. There is an adventure park and paintball at the end of the lane; go all the way there for the beautiful view and a lovely spot to watch the sunset.
Super quiet place for one night!
Quiet and close to the forest. We spent one night here and slept wonderfully.
