A quiet lakeside car park with concrete spaces, a lawn and a pier, offering beautiful sunsets over the lake. It has no services but includes a bin, and the access road is single-track with limited passing opportunities. Clear prohibition signs with a fine have recently appeared, so overnight stays are not permitted.

Two very clear prohibition signs have just appeared, with a fine attached.
This is not Coolbawn Quay. Do not turn at the sign for Coolbawn Quay as it is a private area. Go to the next turn marked Mota Quay. Sometimes the music from weddings at Coolbawn Quay can be heard very clearly but on weekdays it should be a very quiet place
Beautiful location right next to the lough,I stayed for one night in March and it was very quite didn't meet one person over the 24hrs,new tarmac laid and is very flat,obviously no services but there's a bin so please keep the place clean and tidy.
Very peaceful. They were preparing to redo the surface.
Small, quiet spot for two small motorhomes. Well located by the lake, with the possibility of spending the night there.
