Getting here needs an off-road vehicle. Check your ground clearance before setting off.
This is a quiet former quarry overlooking the Seven Sisters, with several secluded places to camp. Exiting can be difficult without a 4x4, and the area contains gravel piles, sand pits, trails and other junk, with considerable waste reported. It faces north, so the sun appears only after 11:15h, while an excavator operates briefly from time to time. It is otherwise usually very quiet.

A very quiet and cozy place to sleep. We were relatively far up and had peace and quiet.
Quiet place but unfortunately lots of rubbish.
The place would actually deserve five stars, but it faces north. The sun does not appear from behind the mountain until 11:15 a.m. In the evening, there is sunshine until the very end. The excavator in the sand quarry is occasionally operating briefly, but most of the time it is very quiet.
Beautiful view to the mountains. A lot of places where to put camp. Many sand pits and car trails around this location where you can find a place for your camp. Alot of waste gravel piles around the sand pits and also other junk thats why 4/5 stars.
