Via Giudici G. Falcone P. Borsellino, 50037, San Piero a Sieve
Been here?
Free camper area near the center with water and gray- and black-water services, although many spaces are used by residents storing campers. Recent visitors found it quiet and suitable for overnight stays, while another report mentions significant road, train and vehicle noise. The train to Florence takes 30min and costs no more than 4 euros per journey. Water availability can be suspended during intense cold.

Thanks to the town for the free fresh water and black- and grey-water disposal. We did not sleep here!Translating
We spent two nights here. A very quiet area, without bothersome mosquitoes, and the services were working. The train is 20 minutes away and takes you to Florence, with the bus reached by climbing the stairs. Tickets can be bought at the tobacconist’s. I recommend the train: cheaper and more comfortable.Translating
Extremely noisy (road 50 m away and train), extremely many permanent campers and winter residents, and extremely many cars entering the site to walk their dogs or make phone calls. Actually a very beautiful place or park, but... nevertheless, many thanks to the municipality!Translating
Great spot: quiet, secure, playground, water, and more. Thanks to the town.Translating
We parked here during the day to take the train to Florence. The journey takes 30 minutes and costs less than €4 each way. In the end, we also used the grey-water and fresh-water services. Ideal for us! P.S. Many locals use the area to store their motorhomes.Translating
Nice place to spend the night. The park was lovely. Locals have there camper parked here as well (some quite long), but there was still more then enough space. Laundromat and cafe are in walking distance. Translating
A lovely little town to spend some time. Services are quite dated and we didn't dare to use the water as there was only a single tap. There is a free water point across the street though for jerry cans etc. As mentioned, lots of stationary vans. Didn't bother us too much.Translating
The water supply is working. The municipality’s maintenance service said that water is temporarily shut off during periods of severe cold to prevent freezing damage.Translating
Quiet place for the night, spent here on 3 January 2026. Motorhomes are present, left there as storage by local residents. Plenty of space and quiet even for a motorhome almost 8 m long like ours. As of 4 January 2026, the water for filling was unfortunately not working. Grey- and black-water disposal uses the same ground drain with a removable cover. Luggage bays approved!Translating
We had a pleasant stay in this place out of season, in mid-December, it was quiet although there is a road not far and although it isn't very spacious we easily got a place for our 23 feet long motorhome. The pitches were just a bit narrow but it was fine for us. The services seemed clean and functional but we didn't use them.Translating
We slept here in September 2025. Quiet, illuminated parking close to the village. The water disposal point is somewhat dated but functional. The same tap is used for filling and disposal. No toilets or other services. Overall recommended.Translating
This is a fine place to spend the night. It looks to be busy with campervans until you realise they're all being stored here by locals. Quiet at night. Some pitches will get mucky in wet weather. Walking paths nearby and down to the river if you need to walk your doggy. Would stay here again. Translating
Despite the road above, we had a quiet night. The traffic decreases during the evening. The adjacent park is naturally used by many residents, but it also becomes quiet in the evening. Otherwise, free water and disposal. We liked it here.Translating
Illuminated, level, safe, and with all services working. Many spaces available. Patisserie nearby.Translating
We had a good stay and slept wonderfully, although we could hear a little traffic noise from the main road. The water fountain and camper disposal were excellent. The centre is only a two-minute walk away, and there is also a children’s playground near a park dedicated to the partisans. The locals are very welcoming.Translating
Stopover area with disposal and drinking water. Very quiet, silent night. Large park with playgrounds and lawns where dogs can happily live and play. We recommend Trattoria Pizzeria Bonaugo, two minutes’ walk away.Translating
Actually a nice place to stay for free. When we wanted to walk into town, a person talking on the phone was lurking around the campers. We moved away but stayed within sight because we had a bad feeling. Once we were gone, four more companions appeared. We decided to drive on and turn back. They immediately dispersed. I think we were lucky.Translating
Good for filling and emptying tanks, but full of stationary campers. A car arrived with a guy who parked beside us and smoked a joint, so we left!Translating
Okay for spending the night. Quiet place close to the town centre. Services working.Translating
Everything is in order, quiet situation and everything working. Thanks to the municipality.Translating
Not recommended. Poorly maintained area with weeds and mud. Many stored motorhomes and several abandoned wrecked cars.Translating
As in previous comments, it is more a storage area than a stopover area, but it is quiet at night and next to a beautiful park. Disposal is somewhat rudimentary but usable; the water tap is currently not working.Translating
The parking area is used for storing campers, but otherwise it is very quiet and has a large, beautiful grassy field for the dog.Translating
