We stayed for 2 days and lacked nothing. Nice restaurant, very friendly people, very clean toilets and showers. As a bonus, free canoes are available. Thank you; we will gladly come again.

Lovely campsite on grass beside a small “lake,” with a large steep cliff on the other side. Fresh, clean service facilities and a popular restaurant with delicious food. One star less because the campsite host was drunk when we checked in.

Highly recommended! We arrived spontaneously and got a very well-maintained pitch with electricity and water connections. The view of the Saale and a rock face is beautiful. A van for one night, 2 people and a dog, including electricity and water, cost us €28. The restaurant has reasonable prices. Hot meals are served until 8 p.m., and you can stay there until 9 p.m. to relax and end the evening.

Absolutely great! Wonderful welcome, excellent sanitary facilities, and the nicest pitch. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night, but we will definitely return. A place to relax and be active. I would give it one more star if I could.

We stayed here for 2 days with our dog. It is beautifully and lovingly arranged. Friendly owner and excellent staff. The sanitary facilities are really great. The food in the on-site restaurant is superb and reasonably priced. All in all, highly recommended for those who like peace and quiet. €58 including electricity and showers is perfectly reasonable.

We arrived spontaneously and were able to choose a pitch. The process was friendly and straightforward. Attention to detail is clearly important. The site is well maintained, quiet, and idyllically located. The on-site restaurant is very good. We are happy to return and are simply extending our current stay by one night.

Highly recommended because of the terraces and unobstructed view of the cliff and the Saale. The welcome is very warm and uncomplicated. There is a restaurant with a sufficient selection. We were offered paddle boats free of charge as a service from the owner. Good starting point for short hikes and excursions. However, it is less suitable for children.

A very beautiful and idyllic place! The site has clean sanitary facilities and washing-up areas, delicious food in the restaurant, and is run by helpful, friendly people. We paid €48 total for two nights for 2 people and a van without electricity, offering very good value for money.

Excellent value for money! €14.50 for a camper van and 1 person without electricity, with a view of the Saale and cliffs. The site was very full and rather noisy in the evening. Super-friendly owner family. Fire bowl at the pitch, bread-roll service, and restaurant. The sanitary facilities are somewhat limited for the number of people and therefore not always clean, due to inconsiderate fellow campers. A top destination in the off-season!

Top site with a beautiful view of the reservoir. The sanitary facilities are new and absolutely clean. Disposal of gray water and chemical toilets is free. Fresh water is available around the site. The owner is calm, balanced, and helpful. The restaurant has heated seating and serves delicious food at reasonable prices. We will definitely return next year.

A truly beautiful campsite that leaves nothing to be desired. Very quiet and beautiful location, a great place for hiking. Very orderly and clean sanitary facilities. The small restaurant with good traditional cuisine deserves special praise. Electricity and water are available.

One of my favorite places: friendly owner, excellent restaurant with a very friendly waiter, superb home-style food made with love, and much more, with a dreamlike view of the Saale and Treplesfelsen. Everything is very clean and well maintained, and showers are included in the price. Very idyllic and quiet. The village of Harra is charming, with a small castle and an illuminated bridge over the Saale.

We are overwhelmed. We are parked directly on the Saale, with a friendly welcome and free choice of pitches by the water. Extremely relaxed, dogs are welcome, free paddle canoes are available, and the friendly staff are always ready for a joke. The sanitary facility is small, clean, and new. We could not entirely agree with the good restaurant reviews. The path from the waterfront to the sanitary facilities is long and steep.

We stayed there for one night while passing through. A truly beautiful campsite with a wonderful setting. The short walk onto the rocks overlooking the site is a must. The owner is very nice and relaxed. The good restaurant and clean sanitary facilities complete the experience. You can find peace and quiet here.

Beautiful site with a great view, partly separated by hedges. Unfortunately, there are almost no shaded pitches. The restaurant is excellent and very reasonably priced. The water and shore are not suitable for everyone for swimming; they look rather dirty, so we did not go in. Anyone coming here primarily for swimming should look elsewhere. I think the site is more suited to anglers. Otherwise, a lovely spot!

Very idyllic and quiet for a short stop. €28 including electricity is perfectly reasonable. The restaurant is also highly recommended. It is just a shame that Thuringian dumplings are available only on Sundays. We liked it, and the site manager was very nice!

A very beautiful site, ideal for groups. There were 9 of us. The site is arranged in terraces with a great view of Trefffelsfelsen. It was well occupied, but still had an idyllic atmosphere. Nobody felt disturbed. We had our own area with a campfire. The restaurant serves very good food. Be sure to reserve; it is very popular.

We were welcomed by the very friendly site manager after a brief phone reservation. The restaurant warmly served us at 8 p.m., just as the kitchen was closing. Excellent food. We had a completely peaceful night. Free canoes are available.

Very nice place. €29 for one night, 2 people, 1 dog, electricity, and everything else included. Terraced layout with a direct view of the Saale. The approach is narrow in places, but the owners are very nice. We also highly recommend the on-site restaurant. Gladly again.

If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the wrong place. The site has potential and is beautifully located, but we left again even though we had paid because we did not want Easter ruined. Several groups were shouting across the site and playing music, despite going to the gas station for more beer for the evening. An awful crowd there. €37.50 wasted.

This place reminds me of my childhood: no phone, nice people, conversations around the campfire. The site is beautifully located by the water, not too crowded, with clean facilities and a small restaurant. The price is perfectly reasonable. Highly recommended.
