Via Gasparina 13, 37014, Castelnuovo del Garda
Been here?
Camping Gasparina is a tree-covered campsite with a pool, lake access, and mostly shaded pitches. Its shop sells essential groceries and fresh bread, while electricity and hot water are included in the price. Recent visitors found the pitches reasonably spacious and the sanitary facilities clean, though not modern. One recent lakeside stay cost 240€ for 4 nights for 2 adults.

I cannot understand the many negative reviews in this form. My husband and I stayed here for four nights, parked near the lake, and paid €240. We liked it; the pitches were sufficiently large and had mature trees. The sanitary facilities are not the newest, but they were clean. You can hear Gardaland nearby, sometimes more, sometimes less. We would come back here.
I am surprised to read the bad reviews. We just camped there for four days over Easter 2026. The site is clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly. The restaurant serves good food in large portions at reasonable prices. The staff smiled and were happy. The price for one night was about €20 per person including everything.
Parking-lot character, no division between pitches, packed closely together. Very loud; sanitary facilities dirty at midday. Very expensive. Be careful when booking: they charge a €50 booking fee. Not recommended; we will not return.
One star, and I am being generous!! Poorly maintained pitches; it looks as though they dug them up and covered them over hastily. Hot water only until a certain time. The restaurant is run by rude people, and if you want a takeaway pizza, pay attention to the time because they stop making them at 8 p.m. What about security? They give you a wristband, but nobody checks; people come and go as they please. The price? Ridiculous.
Convenient only for going to Gardaland because it is 15 minutes from the campsite. Otherwise, it is not great: hot water only intermittently, lots of mosquitoes, and the supermarket and restaurant prices are very high, which is why there were few people.
Well, the recent reviews say enough. We are staying here because friends are at the adjacent park. But €125 per night for two adults and two children aged seven and eight is truly ridiculous. No wonder it is three-quarters empty. They make a tidy profit from the ‘blue bracelets’ when you leave, saving the next person some money or children’s registrations.
An unsafe campsite where, during the day, an e-bike was stolen next to the motorhome. I complained about it at reception, but they did not tell me that they are not responsible for personal belongings, so we can complain anywhere we like. They have no surveillance cameras. I paid €99 for two adults and two children.
Beautiful access to the lake, large pool, unfortunately a new restaurant operator. The food is expensive and mediocre… unfortunately, the campsite has also become too expensive for what it offers due to the change of ownership. Therefore, three stars.
Excellent location on the lake, near Gardaland, generally good facilities and consistently clean bathrooms. A little expensive compared with the services offered by other campsites in the area.
Apart from the prices, nothing has changed, and those exploded from 2023 to 2024. Between €77 and €125 is simply too much for what is offered. Previously, the same thing easily cost under €50 per night. That was appropriate for the site—but no more. What a shame; the site is quite well located, but so are others.
Nice site by the lake. Very greedy site. 120€ per night (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog) and sun chairs cost 12€ per day. “Kid traps” with junk machines all over. No toilet papers in the old toilets.
Beautiful small site, very good location. At the beginning of July, with perfect weather, the site is almost empty. That might also be due to the prices.
The campsite is well located; the town and the railway station (for example, for trips to Verona or Milan) are within walking distance or reachable by bicycle. The pitches are a good size, but leveling ramps are essential. We were there at the beginning of the month and it was not too crowded.
Excellent pitches on grass, some partly surfaced with gravel and some shaded by trees. Not all pitches with a lake view actually have a direct view of the lake. We stayed on a ‘paradise plus’ pitch with electricity and water at the pitch. Since almost nobody was in the front rows, we also had a lake view. Easy to reach with a larger camper (8.81 m). In the rain, the paths do indeed become somewhat muddy, but once dry, everything dries quickly. The sanitary facilities are dated but clean and spacious. Pleasant showers with unlimited hot water. Although we enjoyed our stay here, we feel the price is very high and does not match the appearance of the campsite.
Lake Garda is very beautiful, but the bad memories will remain because two e-bikes were stolen from this campsite. The campsite management was completely indifferent.
All the amenities you need. Lots of space and pitches in different price categories. Right on the water. Showers and toilets included in the price, but be aware, you need to bring your own toilet paper and soap. Washing machines optional. Small shop with bread and other small items. 2 nights, 5m van 2 people 72 euros including tourist tax.
Beautiful campsite. 800 m to Gardaland. A lot is currently being built. New mobile homes are being built over a large area. Direct access to the lake. Excellent pizza at Restaurant Oregano right next door. Small shop with everything needed for daily life. We will return.
very close to gardaland, that's the only benefit, muddy camping, sloped pitches, old sanitary and not very client oriented, they where cutting the grass at 7:30 in the morning on a Saturday
Excellent location on the lake, near Gardaland, excellent facilities, and the bathrooms are also very clean. The price is very good too.
€72 for one night! No trash bins! We had premium pitch 402 by the lake, but then looked out onto a dilapidated graffiti-covered building that was a youth hangout at night. See photo. The site was empty, but we were still not allowed to move because we had one Chihuahua (for which we paid extra) and the other pitches were not suitable for dogs?! Sanitary facilities outdated! Construction site! Houses were constantly being moved around, and we could not even reach the pitch because houses were in the way!
A solid site in the tourist area with a great sunset ;) Nice location, and Gardaland is within walking distance. Bars and restaurants are available and tasty ;)
Beautiful view of Lake Garda with a nice cycle path to Peschiera del Garda and Lazise. Unfortunately, the site becomes extremely muddy when it rains, so it is not recommended in rainy or bad weather. The sanitary facilities are outdated, and unfortunately no toilet paper or soap is provided.
