Please register in advance. The lady of the house was very irritated that we arrived without notifying her beforehand. Apparently there are only 5 spaces, not 10 as stated. No facilities at the motorhome site. She became somewhat friendlier after coffee. However, at dinner the lady of the house was very unfriendly again. The food itself was fine. We registered by phone. Although the parking area was very full of cars, we still found room for our van and trailer tent. Electricity is also available (2 connections). We had breakfast and therefore stayed overnight for free. €22.50 per person for a buffet with a large selection; juice and the automatic coffee machine were included. We are torn about the rating. The country hotel restaurant definitely deserves a full 5 stars, but is this a review portal for hotels and restaurants? No. The staff were very friendly on arrival, thanks to our phone reservation. Because of bad experiences with motorhome travellers, there are extremely strict rules for the gravel parking area, which you have to sign. The pitch was already packed when we arrived, so only two motorhomes could fit at the end. There was an outdoor sales meeting and, at the same time, a 45th-anniversary reunion of former employees. In the afternoon, the sales staff entertained us with a team-building activity in the parking area, and in the restaurant that evening, around 40 seniors loudly voiced their opinions. There is truly nothing on the site itself: no fresh water, grey-water or black-water disposal. You could run electricity from the hall across the gravel parking area, but because of all the activity we declined for cable-safety reasons. All in all, this place is simply a car park belonging to a country hotel. The nearby main road and the local exit road woke us once or twice during the night. For this reason, we give the site only 3 stars. Five and three stars average to 4 stars. We would still return for an overnight stop because the restaurant is first-class.✦Translating

Important: Registration is mandatory—this was not apparent online. Unfortunately, we were reprimanded quite harshly for this. As campers, we unfortunately felt more like a burden than welcome guests. We spent a peaceful night on the almost level gravel surface. The adjacent green area is lovingly landscaped and invites you to linger. The Geyer family gave us a very warm welcome, and the food was also delicious. We will definitely return on our way south.✦Translating
