Route de Rochechouart, 16150, Chassenon
Been here?
A quiet service area beside the Gallo-Roman ruins, with only about two motorhome spaces and a nearby picnic area. Recent comments say grey-water disposal is currently only possible with buckets, while the toilets are dirty. The access road has little traffic, and the water connection requires turning the tap fitting before attaching a connector. The area is suitable for a short stop rather than a fully equipped overnight service area.

There is room for only two motorhomes. Emptying the tanks is mission impossible. The only solution is to do it with buckets.
You have to go a little farther along the path. Not many cars pass on the road. The toilets are dirty, but in any case we do not use them because we have our own facilities. For the water tap connection, you need to turn it in order to screw on your hose connector as shown in my photo, and good luck emptying the gray water.
Service area not signposted, but we saw two motorhomes already parked. Slept very well, quiet.
Service area not signposted. Could not find it.
Just for a stopover, two parking spaces, with a busy road very close by.
Warning: gray-water emptying only, and not very accessible. No cassette-toilet emptying. For water, there is a tap at the restroom sink, which is very poorly maintained.
just had to quiet nights here. all services were working eg: toilets (which were clean) tap for water, waste disposal point, rubbish bin, glass recycling point. Great spot next to a quiet road, with picnic table which ate shelterd by trees. thank you to the commune.
