Small forest-edge car park, very quiet by day with good views nearby, popular for forest walks. Overnight parking is illegal here (forest zone, no vehicles) and has led to gendarmerie visits and a 300-unit fine after waste and rubbish were left behind. Best treated as a day stop only.

During the day, there is a barbecue area and a superb view a little farther down. At night, after abuses at the site, with waste and excrement left behind, we were visited by the gendarmes because this is a forest area where vehicles are prohibited. We had to leave immediately and received a €300 fine—a costly night. Be careful; it would be better to carry small shovels and use the bins to keep the peace.
