Unnamed Road, EX20 4LU
Been here?
Meldon Reservoir is a scenic pay-and-display car park with toilets, moorland walks and attractive reservoir views. Access includes a narrow lane with a sharp bend and an approximate 3.5m height restriction, while long A-class vehicles over 10 m may find it difficult. Recent visitors found it clean and reasonably priced, but signs state no overnight sleeping, so overnight use is uncertain.

We stopped here to visit the reservoir and the viaduct nearby. Was a lovely car park, reasonably priced, with toilet block. Not sure if you can stay here overnight. But definitely worth a visit. Beautiful views and nice walks over the moors. Will defiantly be back.
Great parking area for a hike through the moors. There is also a toilet, and in the afternoon a van came by selling ice cream and drinks!
Stayed here overnight. Nice walks straight onto the Moors or around one side of the lake. Nice and quiet. A couple of nocturnal car visits but I was tucked away at the bottom of the car park so didn't bother me. signs for no over night sleeping but I was up and away by 8am and the car park was still empty.
Nice clean car park with clean toillettes. the estuary is lovely to go and see 5 mins from car park. willhayes tor took me about 30 mins to get to the top with some amazing views. Well worth the stop here. wasn't an overnight thing just a couple of hours. few people about doing similar for a Saturday lunchtime.
