Mirador Giuni Russo, 07041, Alghero
Been here?
This promenade parking area offers sea views and is about 10 minutes from Alghero’s historic centre. It is free when available and can be quiet at night, although the promenade brings pedestrians, mopeds, and other visitors. A €500 fine has been reported for staying there, so overnight parking carries a significant enforcement risk. There are no motorhome services.

At 8 p.m. we received a €500 fine from the local police because we were parked there. According to them, someone from the apartments behind had called. We were sitting on a groundsheet in front of our car eating. Along with two other minibuses, we received a fine. It was impossible to reason with the police. Such a shame for this beautiful place.
Perfect for one night. We enjoyed the incredible sunset. The closer you park to the platform (viewpoint), the more foot traffic there is. In the evening, young people with mopeds and seniors and families on the benches. It is quiet at night. Perfect for exploring the town, with bars and restaurants along the promenade to the old town.
We found a great place for one night between the two parking areas listed here on P4N. We stayed with 6 other campers. The police checked, but since there was no camping behavior, we were tolerated.
There are not parking spots, do not recommend it!
Incredible views. Quiet place with little vehicle traffic. 100% recommended. Wonderful to wake up to these views in the morning.
Strange place, in the middle of the street. Further down it says there are two more dirt parking areas, but as soon as we parked, the residents opposite looked out and it did not feel right, so we decided to park farther up beside some apartment buildings to walk around Alghero and continue our journey. I recommend Carlos Primero ice cream shop :) Their ice creams are worth trying.
Good free parking 10 mins walk to the centre. Felt safe as a busy area for walkers and cyclists. I only stayed during the day.
I slept here at the end of April. Fine for one night and for visiting the city, although for that I recommend parking opposite the marina. Quite peaceful and with a sea view.
Lovely view; I stayed here only during the day. I did not leave the car unattended either, so I don't know if it is safe. Many people walked along the promenade.
Great place to stay for one night while visiting the old town. It is only 15 minutes away. There is a small park; although it is beside the road, it is far enough away that the spot is fairly quiet.
We spent one night parked beside the road near the junction. Lovely view of the cove and villa, but a lot of traffic and fairly noisy at night. No services. We recommend parking farther on toward the point. However, it is a convenient place for visiting the city and not far from bars for an Italian-style breakfast.
Crowded, full. We fouded a lot further fown the road (unpaved). Walking distance to city for a good dinner. Very noisy during tha night.
Very far away, with few spaces and somewhat difficult access. I recommend parking on the upper street (C/ Valencia) along the promenade. It is relatively quiet, safe, and you can spend the night without problems.
Free parking on the seafront, spectacular sunset and a fairly quiet area overall. However, you are still on the road behind the beach. The city center is a 10–15 minute walk away. Considering the difficulty of parking in Alghero, an excellent solution.
