La Capelle, 12200, Monteils
Been here?
Small, very quiet municipal campsite on the wooded banks of the Aveyron, with several flat pitches and shade. In July, one person with a converted car and no electricity paid 5€50 for one night. Clean sanitary facilities and a washing machine are available, and vehicles over 2.20m can access the site by arranging for the barrier to be opened.

Small campsite run by an association. The entrance barrier is 2.20 m high, but larger vehicles can access it; ours is 2.5 m. Simply call the number displayed on the reception door if nobody is there, and they will explain what to do. Clean sanitary facilities. €12.10 for one night with our vehicle and three adults. Good mobile coverage.
Honestly, for the price, there is nothing to complain about. €5.50 for one night in July (one person and one converted car without electricity). Of course it is very basic (no freezer for ice packs), but the sanitary facilities are clean, there is a washing machine, shade, plenty of fairly level ground, and it is beside the Aveyron. Impeccable stopover between Villefranche-de-Rouergue and Najac.
Very quiet place, clean sanitary facilities, grocery shop 800 m away. For vehicles over 2.20 m, contact the shop to have the barrier opened. We discovered it over the weekend of August 15; there were at most three campers. Two people in a van without electricity for two nights: €17.40. One star deducted because the disabled shower only had cold water.
The campsite was all ours! Extremely quiet and pleasant for €8.70 without electricity. Very hot water. Very friendly owner. You can enter even when nobody is there and pass under the approximately 1.20 m barrier. The campsite closes on September 30.
