Last night we received a visit from the authorities—a police officer, two gendarmes in fatigues, and a municipal employee. Camping is allowed for one night in areas without vegetation, as close to the road as possible, with precautions regarding forest fires, and until 8 a.m. The vehicle must be road-ready, with the roof folded and leveling blocks removed. Polite and proper interaction. Good to know.
