Stadium parking, weekend crowding

I did not see a parking sign, but parking is tolerated. On weekends, in good weather, or during a football match, it can get very crowded. A wood-processing business is practically right behind the small river and was quite noisy all day. At night it is quiet, with a wonderful area for hiking and cycling.✦Translating

Quiet overnight stop by the sports ground. A river runs alongside it with a small bridge over it. A good cycle path follows the river down to the Moselle and on to Bernkastel-Kues.✦Translating

We had a great stay. Our dog enjoyed the River Lieser. The restaurant a little higher up, with its beer garden, was very good. A lovely spot. Thank you.✦Translating

I used the parking area for what it is: a hiking car park. From here you can cycle along the Maare-Moselle cycle route or hike the “Lizard Searching for the Moselle” trail up into the vineyards. Tip for legal, peaceful overnight accommodation: join Landvergnügen and stay in the orchard at Melsheimer Winery above the Klostermühle, behind the yellow buildings. A dream!✦Translating
