Woodland concrete area, fly-tipping and mud

Unfortunately it is now a dump site which is worse since our last stop. The trees blocking the road view and noise have been felled. The concrete circle areas are covered in sludgy brown mud, which gets into the van quickly. There’s an abandoned caravan, not smashed up. Not the best park up but if desperate will do. Our 2330 ferry was cancelled and was booked on the 0330 so it was okay.

Stayed 2 nights, some cars turned up on Saturday & we're very noisy for a couple of hours but they put on a very good drifting display & were all gone by 9.30pm. No other disturbances. Was ok if you parked away from the fly-tipping, we tried to move it to one area but there was a lot (& some bagged asbestos dumped) so it was a futile task. Moved when we found a tick in our bed!

Large, very level site set slightly back from the road. Unfortunately, it also seems to be an unofficial dump. The entire site smells of rubbish and feces. Not recommended while it remains so dirty.

We spent a very peaceful night here before the ferry crossing in the morning. It is a large flat space enough for many campers with no amenities. We had the place to ourselves and it is surrounded by trees. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there was alot of rubbish, it seems to be a dumping place, but it was perfect for what we needed.

Five kilometers from the ferry, where motorhomes are not allowed in the parking area. Turn right just before the small bridge. You emerge 50 meters later at an abandoned industrial site. Only ten large concrete slabs, where tanks were presumably placed, and a few mounds of slag remain. Do not continue past the bridge; the other spot is blocked by stones and there is no possibility of turning around.

Ideal place before or after the ferry, with easy access and no blockage by stones or anything similar. Especially ideal for pets. Enough space for several motorhomes.

I spent one night here and it helped me after getting off the ferry, but this parking area is a real public dump. It is very dirty and largely blocked by rocks, so you have to park beside it.

Stayed overnight. Great spot, quiet, nobody around, and hard standing. The track down is narrow, but we managed without problems in a long-wheelbase Sprinter.

Extremely quiet and very peaceful, but the four piles of tractor manure put people off.
