Daytime parking, overnight prohibited

It is an ambiguous parking area for staying overnight, even though the owner of Martina restaurant says it is allowed. You may be woken in the morning and fined €130. In Croatia it is strict: you cannot sleep in public parking areas. It is suitable only during the day; overnight stays are at your own risk.

Unfortunately, we had a nasty surprise here! At 7 a.m. we were rudely woken by four police officers or municipal enforcement staff and had to pay a €133 fine for staying overnight. Overnight stays are not permitted in public parking areas in Croatia.

More of a daytime stop. Great for a picnic and going down to the small beach below.

Right beside the road and wide enough for motorhomes. There are no signs regulating ownership of the parking area or any restrictions.

Parking only for guests of Martina restaurant. I am not sure how overnight stays work. Perhaps ask at the restaurant whether you may stay the night after eating there.

Spectacular view; the noise is tolerable. Enough space for a large van or caravan. On the right, you go down to a beach, and on the left, you go down to the village path along the sea.

Ideal for a day visit to Senj. You can go straight down to the beach or walk into town along the promenade.

Beautiful view and next to the water. Free parking and quite easy to find a flat spot. Pretty noisy at night as it is right next to a busy street. There is a bar next to water and toilets are free to use as long as the bar is open.

Ideal emergency stop for one night when driving the long coastal road north or south. Directly on the busy road, but sufficiently quiet at night inside the insulated camper. Beautiful view and you can even hear the sound of the sea.
