Been here?
A flat riverside parking area for about 4/5 campers, suitable for an overnight stop. It is free, with no signs prohibiting overnight parking, and the latest reports describe quiet evenings and nights. Dog walkers, walkers and kayakers use the areas during the day, while hedges reduce road noise. Swansea city centre is reachable on foot in about 25–30 minutes, and mobile reception is average.

Fantastic stopover near the main road and river. Very quiet evening and night. Cell signal average but I got a few hours work done. There are 3 parking areas - one next to river’s edge is busy with walkers and kayakers. All have tall hedges so there’s no road noise. Another van parked near us about 10pm and It was just us for the night. Bike trail to shops and city adjacent. 1 trash bin.
Great place! We walked into the city (25 minutes) and slept well. Lots of dog owners and women with SUPs, but no problems.Translating
Great stop over 16 th Feb. No other vans here overnight . Some cars come and go as dog walking area. Some pot holes andSome noise from road hence 4/5
Stayed for the football (Wrexham V Swansea on Mad Friday) so expected it to be busy/noisy - it wasn't! Perfect spot for the stadium (10min walk). Minimal road noise. Footpath straight into city centre (30min walk, when the path splits, go left and under the bridge then it's straight all the way. Unlit path though). Felt safe. Would stay again. Free stop, no signs, no height barrier, no bother.
Great place to stop for the night. flat and quiet. dog walkers arrive in evening and morning, but no problems.
Convenient parking, peaceful night.Translating
Excellent stop over place. Fairly flat and easy to find. Even has a leaflet stand for info on the White Rock Heritage Trail. On the national cycle path 43 so only 8 mins into the city centre! Yes there is a hum from the main road and it’s quite reassuring not overwhelming. We were the only motorhome overnight - no other cars after all the dog walkers and paddle boarders left. Would recommend!!!
Excellent parking location, especially if you have dogs. It gets busy during the day because everyone seems to walk their dogs here. Nobody bothered me, and I stayed for two days.Translating
By the river and near to a busy roundabout but quiet at night with street lights. It's a good spot to spend a night before/after visiting Swansea.
Spent the day/evening in Swansea and had this location pencilled in to park overnight. Arrived at 2330 to find only one other van here. As others have said it's flat, albeit gravel and on the RHS space for 5, there's another parking area but tighter to get into from the roundabout. Felt safe here, some road noise but only with the doors open, once tucked up in bed I didn't notice it.
No issues at all. Flat parking very quiet a few people in the morning coming with paddleboards and dogs but all friendly.
Perfect for us for a local car boot sale. McDonald's is a 10-minute walk with dogs. Very quiet; the occasional car pulled up, but there were no problems.Translating
Really only suitable as a backup, if there is nothing else. Parking in poor condition; the height barrier has been removed. I did not feel safe there, so I left for somewhere else.Translating
Great place for us to stop over on the way to Fishguard from Sussex. A little road noise but otherwise peaceful with space to walk the dog by the river. o facilities, of course, but excellent 5g.
