Shaded riverside, rubbish and flies

A shaded grassy strip with 2-3 almost flat camper places beside the Tiber, 100m from the Abbey of San Salvatore di Montecorona. The river is not suitable for swimming, and recent reports describe the area as very dirty with rubbish and many flies. A few cars pass on the nearby secondary road, and access to the river is via a steep path for children min 6-7 years old.

Nice place in the middle of nature but very dirty. Not just tissues but all kinds of rubbish.
Cooler than the shade provided by the pine trees in the abbey car park. Judging by the tissues, it seems to be a place where couples park to be intimate in their cars. Lots of flies. The Tiber is not suitable for swimming; it may be ideal for cycling or a lunch break.
