Allée du Parc, 71000, Macon
Been here?
Spacious free parking at Saône riverbank with grassy meadow, benches, and cycling paths to town centre. Generally peaceful after sunset; Friday and Saturday nights tend to be busier. No services but close to Mâcon. Occasional activity and variable security have been noted on some nights.

We stopped here for a coffee break. From the parking area, a well-maintained lawn leads to the Saône. There are several benches under the shade-giving trees. The spot is certainly also very suitable for spending the night.Translating
The place looks nice, but avoid it at night. There is a huge amount of high-speed traffic and people loitering at night.Translating
Perfect parking area for spending the night and visiting the lovely town of Mâcon. We were there on Thursday. After sunset, everything became very peaceful. Thank you to the town of Mâcon!Translating
Great place for a stop. Large parking area. View of the river, with a walking and cycling path alongside it, many benches, and a large grassy area in between. For overnight stays, bear in mind that there is a road behind you; it is a 50 km/h road and not very busy. The stop is close to the Route du Soleil and near large supermarkets, petrol stations, and so on.Translating
Very pleasant place on the banks of the Saône. Close to the cycle path leading to the center of Mâcon. Very pleasant for stopping for a meal by the Saône. The road is not much of a nuisance and is limited to 50 km/h.Translating
Spacious and free spaces for motorhomes. You can park all along the avenue. There is a little traffic at night, especially on Friday and Saturday evenings. It is a parking area with no service point, electricity, or dumping facilities. Perfect for one night.Translating
We spent one night here; it was quiet and close to the center. Perhaps a little isolated, but perfect even for large motorhomes and dogs.Translating
Quiet parking area, 20 minutes from the beautiful old town. We spent a relaxing night here.Translating
Nice place on the banks of the Saône, BUT there was a disturbance around 3:00 a.m. Cars coming and going, doors slamming, music... Dealers? It was Saturday night into Sunday...Translating
It is better to find a more secure place. As in many large cities, there are people who do not seem well-intentioned hanging around the motorhome... I would not spend the night here.Translating
View of the Saône. Quiet and spacious on this Wednesday in September. I parked my 7.3-meter motorhome.Translating
Perfect place for one night. Vehicles pass by, but it is not very noisy. A pleasant little wake-up by the Saône.Translating
We hesitated a lot about sleeping here because of the reviews, but we went anyway and were glad we did—we slept very well. We were there on a Wednesday. Yes, it is somewhat a gathering place for people, but we were not bothered. Practically speaking, there is a toilet opposite in the large park. Bring your own toilet paper.Translating
Mixed feelings. Beautiful view of the Saône, with the possibility of walking along the river and in the park. We had the experience of cars pulling up right next to us in the middle of the night, around 3:45 a.m., with music blasting. Apart from this unfortunate incident, everything went well.Translating
Zero stars would be even better. Heavy traffic, with cars pulling up beside you and playing music. Avoid.Translating
Parking spaces along the river; there is a toilet in the adjacent park. We had a quiet stay for one night. Important: approach from the side where the tennis hall/swimming pool is, otherwise you are limited to 1.9 m in height.Translating
