Theatre parking, noisy nights

Very restless site; people walked across it all night and talked loudly. The seagulls are also relatively loud, but bearable. Motorcycles drove across the site all night, and despite the expensive ticket (300 NOK), we also received a fine because the windscreen was fogged up behind the sunshade in the morning.

The parking area is also paid on Sundays. What a way to ruin a visit to a beautiful city because of a €66 fine.

Very expensive parking area (currently 16 kr between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m., and 36 kr otherwise). Seagulls have nests nearby and are noisy all night. We still spent the night there because we took a midnight sun cruise from the harbour, about a 10-minute walk away. Nearby there is also a huge ONEPARK area, which would be somewhat cheaper for longer parking.

Very disappointed. The parking meter is difficult to understand. The town is undergoing major construction. We are not staying and are heading to better places.

We are disappointed because it is paid every day, including Sunday! Otherwise it is a good place where we did not stay.

It's very expensive but in a good position to visit the city center. There are other parkings nearby but they cost pretty much the same.

We were there on New Year's Eve and watched the fireworks. The centre is a 15-minute walk away. There is a daytime rate of 32 kr and a nighttime rate of 14 kr per hour. Daytime is from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and nighttime from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. We liked it; it was quiet, and €14 for 10 hours is okay.

For a place within walking distance, it is worth four stars, but it is very expensive. We paid just under 300 NOK for 19 hours. It was very quiet, with no noise, except for the seagulls, which did cackle throughout the whole ‘night’. We were there with three other campers.
