Monastery parking, noisy at night

Convenient parking for visiting the monastery, but certainly not for sleeping. It is a meeting place for young people. As a result, many cars come to the parking area throughout the night to chat. It does not feel unsafe, but it is very noisy.

Between 3-4 AM cars came. About 10 noisy men,thugs, were honking, spinning their cars, wrestling with each other. When they approached our van and knocked on the window we decided to leave. Then they all jumped in their cars and chased after us. It was a wild car chase all the way to Sofia. We’ve never been more terrified. Beware - this remote place seems to be a meeting point for youth and gangs.

Great view and not far from Sofia. Large paved parking area. In the evenings many people come there, with engines running and music playing. It didn't bother us. However, it is not a suitable place for people who cannot sleep amid a lively noise level. The next morning we visited the monastery.

Good place with a view, but too many cars arrive late into the night with music.

Great view over Sofia, you can see sunrise in the morning. New asphalt road and big parking lot. Lots of people drive up at dark, stay for a while in the parking, listen to music, but it wasn't loud and didn't bother us. We went to the monastery in the morning. Really recommend this place, because of the view.
