This is a small, quiet parking place near the edge of town, where 2-3 vans can fit in line; a sandy track leads to another roadside space. It has no facilities, while the town offers a fountain, garbage bins and restaurants. Several hiking trails start nearby, including the Caldera del Río Cambrones route, with cold swimming pools and a 2-hour walking time without stops. The car park is reasonably flat, though dog walkers and passing cars may occur.

Didn’t stay but parked here for a few hours to do Caldera del rio cambrones hike. Recommend! 2hrs with no stops and plenty of places to swim in the calderas but very cold. We loved it, only ones on the trail. Carpark seems reasonably flat, no facilities. A few dog walkers and cars come past but no worries. I would spend the night if I didn’t need to be elsewhere!
