Village parking, loud evenings

When we arrived at 5 p.m., we were delighted to find new, very clean toilets and a fresh-water connection at the bus parking area, as well as a charming white village with several bars, a church, and a supermarket. Friendly people. From 9 p.m. the noise began; at 11 p.m. the village youths arrived with music, football games, and motorcycle races. At midnight we had to leave! On weekdays the place is obviously good; weekends are a horror!

The pitch is level, paved, and pleasantly located on the edge of the municipality next to a playground, yet it was completely quiet. There is no service at all, but it is exactly right for one night. Thank you to the municipality!

Service-free parking area for motorhomes, recommended in the free guide “Routes through Zafra-Río Bodión by Motorhome and Camper,” for visiting the municipality, with overnight stays possible, about five minutes from the village centre. Very well located next to a sports court. It is also very well situated for visiting the Contributa Iulia Interpretation Centre. There is another parking area closer to the archaeological site.

Flat parking area suitable for five or six motorhomes. We spent a quiet night here. The children's playground next door is used by village families. We did not see any trains during the evening. We recommend parking close to the building.

Very small parking area for one short night. Do not park near the football field: two balls hit the motorhome, and teenagers played until 12:30 a.m. this Friday! Early wake-up from tractors and cars. Ordinary village, parking at the foot of the railway, and a solar-panel field opposite with the continuous pastoral racket of sheep maintaining the site.

Good stop over for the evening. Hopefully it will be quiet without any issues.

Very quiet peaceful parking area despite being next to the children's play area. Close to the village centre where there are a couple of welcoming Bars and a Panaderia (open Sunday's). The village itself is a typical Extremedura village but beautifully kept. Not touristy. The locals take a lot of pride in their village. There are no facilities at the site but overnight parking is allowed.

Medina deserves praise for the care and effort put into making this small town a pleasant and interesting place to visit. This parking area is in a quiet location, close to bars, shops, and the Interpretation Centre. Two kilometres away is a Roman city that can be visited. There are cycling routes and walking trails through clean air among olive groves and vineyards. Recommended.

A small parking area, but suitable for spending the night if you are visiting the town. Do not park next to the play area. In the afternoon, young people play football.
